breaking my own habit/rule thing and skipping 80+ pages of chatter since last I read, though I think it's closer to 100. Over FOUR days. So, ya'll have averaged 25 standard post count pages per day, aka 250 posts, or 10.42 per hour, every hour.

    That's a LOT of talking.

I am not even gonna TRY to read through that with any intention of ever catching back up, so I'm just going with hi, hope everyone's doing okay, and etc.

    It's somethin' ain't it?!?
    Well worth the read tho':)

OMG I forgot to update y'all! This kid should be a child star, acting is apparently her forte. (That sounds better than calling her a liar, right?) The teacher is all smiles this morning, "she had a great day yesterday!" I just started laughing. I started telling her what dd had said on the way to daycare in between sobs, and she just shook her head. "We have a lot of boys and girls who didn't know the rules, maybe she heard me talking to one of them?" They only had to speak to dd once, they said.

Anyway, she was determined to have a good day today, can't wait to pick her up this afternoon and find out. Also a new change for her, no more daycare, she will be staying after school with the Boys and Girls Club until I get there around 6/6:30. That makes almost 12 hours at school for her.

I have a feeling I'm going to be making a lot of you laugh and shake your heads with my stories. I cried at daycare today, I felt like I was breaking up with someone. I've been going there for 11 years with both kids. The director just hugged me and told me "change is hard" and dd can still go there for full days out of school, holidays, and summer break. I feel a little better about it all now.

In two weeks this will be our new normal, but for now it sucks.

On a brighter note, I have an awesome lunch and my ECF friends so life is good! Hope you're all having a terrific day as well. . .

Omg that is so funny, you got a little scam artist!

Oh, Jess, I'm so sorry I missed this part of your post. How awful for you! What are your treatment options?
Treatment options are finding a medication regiment that works, blah I don't like being on pills all the time so the doc is giving me something I can take as needed on bad days or daily if I want to. And water aerobics, tai chi & yoga. The low impact exersizes I guess have been clinically proven to help, so I guess I'm gonna get my but in gear and off to the gym.

I don't remember who asked if I had my thyroid checked and I have and my thyroid is all good.
Hi Claudia. Quick peak in. We are on our way to the oncologist in a few minutes.
Happy thoughts coming your way. Hugs!

Another very hot day here in Florida, even with Ac its so hot I can't use a stove for fear I will melt. Sandwiches tonight for sure.
I have to apologize, I am too tired to read everything, to post to individuals my greetings, so, I hope everyone is doing well and sending my prayers to all of you.

I am more tired than usual so don't mind if I fade in the background now and then, I am around.

Gotta love an analytical mind. Some of us were asking about you, glad you peeked in.

My daughters birthday party was Sunday, so Friday/Saturday was running around getting things ready, killing my mixer with cream cheese frosting, wondering how much sucking up and pouting would result in a KitchenAid for Christmas or my anniversary (conclusion, to much, I'll eventually buy myself one some year with a tax return or something). And of course since none of that involves SLEEPING I was late for said birthday party since 'I can sleep for like an hour' turned into 'OH HOLY CRAP, RUN!'

And I have been unsuccessfully trying to manage sleep since :D

So, my normal stuff, basically, I got smart this year and refused to feed people a meal though, so I didn't have the fun of coleslaw or something at 3am like I normally do. I should have NEVER let anyone know I enjoy cooking and baking. It would have saved me a crap ton of stress and last minute all nighters. And the pouting when I refuse the additional work.

So yeah, just busy, nothing bad or serious.

A drama free day at last! She enjoyed the afterschool program if the dirt and sweat are anything to go by. She's eating now like she's never been fed, and I predict an early bedtime tonight. There is no evidence of tears, and no horror stories have been recounted. Thank the good Lord!!

DD1 is asleep in her bed when I walked in, so probably be up half the night. I'm going to beard that lion in it's den in a little while, hope I live through it without too many scratches, but she has to prepare for school tomorrow, and not be up all night.

I had a fun day, glad it's over. Hope you are all doing well! See you around. . .

Some of the pro-RYOers are able to roll, and smoke, over 3 packs per day. That just blows me away! I would be so frustrated that I would just give up and eat the tobacco instead.

I have a relative who wanted me to switch to RYO. She has a machine that rolls them in a few seconds, and they're like packaged ones that you buy.

I don't have one of the awesome machines, just an little handheld one that uses tubes. It's not hard to roll and smoke a LOT with it, it takes all of 5 seconds, maybe. Heck, I can roll a cig in the dark in a car if someone else is driving ~shrug~ It actually takes me longer to use the big clunky ones everyone seems to love. BUT! I have been rolling for... Umm...A while. Even before I smoked, I'd roll for my mom since she hates doing it.

If you're unfamiliar with RYOing, that little handheld tube using machine is like the ones that come in the $20 or so Top tobacco branded kits. Easy peasy.

And rolling tobacco doesn't actually taste that bad, but you'd probably end up throwing up so I wouldn't recommend it. (I can't find FQs original post to quote, so just tossing that on here.)

Other news, I lied. My compulsive reading habits won't let me not read all the things, so yup. I'm back there a ways. Reading about eating slop and Lox not being able to goof off and joke around and etc. And finding out that an astonishing number of those pages were Thaya and Shari being insomniacs.

Hi! I was just thinking it was quiet in here tonight, usually my phone is going off with notifications from all the chatting. I'm about ready for bed myself.

Hello, it is mighty quiet. I'm just forum hopping and web-surfing. Probably when I decide to sign off, everyone will come back and it'll be another party.

Oh, and BTW it was me who asked about the thyroid. Most docs don't do the right tests so people go undiagnosed, as many as 1/3 of people who have it are treated for other things instead and don't get better. If you're interested in talking you can PM me (don't want to press the issue).

Thanks for the link. I was bored. lol

LOL you must've been! :D Hope you're doing well. For me, if I'm bored, it's actually a good sign.
