That is the type of place I hunt for! And the food looks delicious... I wanna go too! We have all kinds of Mexican food here, but for the most part it is all Americanized and it is either over spiced or tastes like Taco Bell. Looks like you found a little gem. A clue to good ethnic food: find out where the local Mexicans, Japanese, Italians, Thai, etc. eat. It may be a hole in the wall, but I bet the food will be good.

If I could take all of you I would...

I have a version of the same problem here. It is getting a little better but that is because the small town has grown a lot. Now we also have a lot of the big chain restaurants that are not run as well as their counterparts in the larger cities. Staffing and food quality issues even though it is a big chain restaurant. Hard to find the small mom and pop restaurants here, and when you do they usually don't make it past a year. I think you have to get past 25k people to start attracting the chains and then some smaller places start to open up. We are going to get our first movie theater in the next 3 years. Probably because they closed the one 25 miles to the south of us. There is a huge dead mall down there.

Well I wish you could have gone for me, I hate going to Walmart, ours is so poorly stocked it's always an exercise in frustration, but who can afford to pay regular supermarket prices, at least not in this little town.

I dont really 'like' goingtoWalMart, but a.) I need some stuff from there and mine is less than a block from a Dollar Tree. b.) I also need some plastic shoebox sized bins or other small to midsized storage, which the dollar store sells. And most importantly...

C.) Walmart trips are WONDERFUL excuses to leave the house all by myself with no kids, and to take an extra 10 minutes to drive around faster than I should listening to music everyone else whines about

So yup, I don't like Walmart, but going to Walmart? Awesome.

I kinda love it. Then again, I'm weird and love jumbles of interesting things, especially how they interact and how the 'focus' of what your seeing always changes. I blame my grandmas former partner and a high school art teacher for that. So much fun to draw them as still life and learning to find day to day changes or particularly awesome bits that you don't notice at first glance.

Plus a coupleof my favorite bad Chinese places have similarly awful but strangely amazing clutters of STUFF.

I do get much better, but then we would really get in trouble. It doesn't take much either, I generally don't drink except for the fru fru drinks for girls. One is about all I can handle these days, now back in the day is another story...

Yep sounds like here only beyond fast food we don't have any of the large chains, we are miles away from the 25 k people we are only about 6k. I do shop at Bilo for some things but they are way higher than Walmart, but I will buy meat there on sale, I won't buy any fresh meat at Walmart. We almost got a Golden Corral then the great recession hit, so much for that.

But I had no way of knowing. I'm not religous - although the word didn't have anything to do with that and I wouldn't have come down on a 3rd grader for using it. I'm far more likely to take offense at words like "douche" or an entire thread (with pics) of boobs being used as mod holders ... if I was prudish or feminist.

I honestly thought some of the censored words were due to flame wars; words commonly used in anger. This wasn't a word I usually use so I had no idea that it was censored.
