I just gotta say as I'm going through & catching up, m loving seeing our numbers going up & up on our counters for those of us that have them, much congrats to everyone. Every time I look at mine & see another day added to it I'm so proud of myself & I'm proud of all of you too.

& for those of you still getting to that point, I'm not trying to not include you all or be mean or anything so please don't be upset with me. You all know I support everyone & no judgments right? I love you all, you are my online family and I really couldn't have gotten to this point with all your help.

I guess I'm having a mushy day :) haha. Ok well enough of that! What's everyone up to this eve? I think I took too many naps today and hope I can sleep tonight.

Oh Jessermay, what I am going to do is not DIY. No unflavored nic juice and measured mixing here.

Just some flavors to doctor up juices I already have. Hoping this will give me the ability to improve on some so-so and worse than so-so juices. You know, make something wonderful out of a ho-hum bottle of plain butterscotch, like a butterscotch bavarian cream. Or throw some butterscotch into a tobacco. Things like that. Or maybe some cream into a fruity liquid I already have. Nothing fancy. Hopefully adding options to stuff I already spent the money on. Making a bad purchase a winner, if I am lucky.

Ok, that's cool, I actually do that too. I have a couple vanilla's I love that have helped out the not so great juices.

I'm too scared to get into the DIY, maybe someday, when I have the extra time. I've been lucky enough to find a couple juices I really love so I haven't even thought about DIY. I'm very impressed by all of you that do it tho! ;)

LOL! I think a person needs to be a little possessed to get into DIY and chasing the vape. I'm frustrated with flavors and finding the ADV is essential.

Your still mixing.

If you can, pick up a cake, waffle or graham cracker. Those are good modifiers too and based on what you've said about NLV Gold, I bet you'd like them.

All day vape. In my life known as The Search For the Holy Grail of Juice. And I promised myself I was going to quit that. These days it just has to be obtainable, affordable, and not taste nasty. That leaves a LOT of stuff for the rest of you to buy!

I have favorite types, if that matters. I prefer heavy, sweet vapes. Tobacco, coffee, caramel, vanilla, butterscotch. I like fruit flavors but they do not satisfy my urge to have a cig. I do not like menthol. I have a few mints in my arsenal that all make me nauseous because I was too heavy handed with them. I prefer a hint, and koolada, which gives the feeling of coolness without the cloying flavor.

Can't think of anything better than my dearest friends all gathered up on a Saturday night, pondering the flavors in their boxes, with syringes and graduated cylinders and tiny empty bottles scattered around. We could Skype while we mix, but I would mess something up horribly! Have to have extreme concentration, or else I put the same flavor in twice, or skip one altogether. Once I missed the bottle, and emptied the syringe onto the desktop instead. Remember when I told you my room smelled like Starbucks? :p

No horrible screw ups. you'd be not paying attention AT ALL and mix something you absolutely loved with no clue how ya managed it.

Or is that just me and cooking?

Edited because I evidently had a multiquote started and didn't realise it.

I'm not sad, per se, but definitely have had better days. Kinda miss my old friend unreasonable anger. . .At least I understood that one.

Ah well, hope you all had a great day! Any fun plans for the evening?
{{{{FQ}}}} hug's FQ ..... I'm waiting for Bela to go to bed:)
I got my two winders in the mail today and some other liquids from all the trading I did. So it looks like I will be tasting juices tonight. Which is a good thing. Either I will find a couple I really like or another round of trading is forthcoming. I was so proud of myself for getting rid of all those little bottles, now I have just as many from trading. It is going to take me over a week to properly taste it all. Such horrible problems, huh? :vapor:
Absolutelyhorrible Shari  just horrible!

Hey new DIY'ers check this sale out - today only $.99 flavorings
10ml Sample Bottle - TPA Flavoring

Remember those "I can't have new hobbies/more stuff yet!" and the "I am broke and must put off buying ANYTHING vape related for a while" statements I've made? Err... Yeah. I meant them. Yup, yup I did.

I meant to just buy a couple flavorings to try and help some of what I already have. I mean, that's cost, time, AND space efficient, right?

I just don't work that way though.

So... When my husband starts glaring at new hobby/making stuff things, or the bank statement, I can just tell him to take it up with Lox, right? I mean, that post right there was 100% enabler. ;)

((I'm mostly kidding. I didn't break the bank or anything. I just might have to transfer the start of my 'replace the mixer and microwave' funds over to general spending for this week))

I have gotten too good at that last few months, just be careful.

So those of you that DIY, is it really hard, what is the initial investment? I think sometimes that it may be my best route, then I worry that I wouldn't be good at it. Or I would ruin it more often than not.

I think the initial investment is a little steep, but once you get going you can make your juice very cheaply. I also figure that I'd probably ruin it and waste all the supplies I bought without making anything vapeable. I do think I'll get into it sooner than later, but I have to use up a lot of the juice I already have on hand first.

In all honesty... What I have spent on vape stuff is what would normally be my yarn money. Since I'm stocked up on yarn for the moment, I'm actually not spending more than I CAN, just more than I'd like to. This week and next the intent was to spend as little as possible and make a trip to a festival is all. My brakes decided they needed replaced yesterday though and that and some other general car maintenance means we wont be going. So no Matthews festival=some free cash I wasn't really planning on having. :)

The 'more stuff' is the actual issue ATM. The money is not such a huge deal right this instant. At least not in the amounts I spend.

I think it's very individual. Some can buy base at their preferred strength, add flavor and be on their way. A coffee table procedure. Some may order several premade juices and mix them together, in a bottle or tank. Some add more flavor to a premade juice.

Others can take it to a new level up to semi-pro. Think sterilizing jillions of bottles, pipettes, syringes, beakers, eye protection, reciepes, taking notes and labeling.

    It's entirely up to you.

Hey all, hope you all are doing well. I am waaaay behind in this thread, but I wanted to let Shari know that I got my package and guess what? It's not happening. LOL. (If you know what I mean?!) Thank you for the liquids and I do enjoy, actually, really enjoy two TPRs (S&M and M-Type). I'll try the rest later. The studio is kickin' my ... right now, so I'll talk to you all soon.

Bavarian cream. Also smooth works great on harsh juices and adds body. Cotton candy adds sweetness too.
Yes you can get how many you want - I got 50  I think I got 1 of everything but green tea

Your on my "crap" list. How can I ignore flavor concentrates at $0.99? That's entirely not fair. I should stay away from pg as it is, which has been very very tough (looking at my pluid bottle now). I need to sell a ton of juice already. But, but, but .... $0.99? This is so sad. My brain has melted. Resistance is futile.

That's kind of what I am thinking about too, and with mostly 24 mg juices lowering the nic a little wouldn't hurt anything.

My boss used her own money at first, we ran a marketing company, so we used our resources to reach out to large companies. I have a friend that finds things (in the garbage, people get rid of useful things) we cleaned them up and resold them. LOL but it was so successful we opened a small thrift in the same building. I think that the garage sales and thrift store were fun and probably kept me working a bit longer than I would have, if I didn't care so much about the dogs.

That would be so much fun! I'm a thrift addict. I could care less about mall stores because they seem so boring in comparison. I love repurposing, upcycling, finding different uses for things. So many people don't get it and I get very frustrated with them. But that kind of stuff, if done well (not crafty) sells well. I miss my house and workshop.
