I don't know about that steeping thing. Everybody talks about it. My NLV juices are good to go out of the mail from what NLV and the thread for them says and I do find that to be true. I have read several places that Halo juices are supposed to be good out of the mail (presteeped) also, but now I am reading of people steeping them. The HDV stuff I bought did need to steep, most did not taste great on arrival, but the butterscotch mellowed after a month. A couple I just don't think anything is going to help them or I just do not like them. The DeejStuff needs to steep, even though on the bottle it says steep 5 days. It needs more than that I think, at least for me. A good portion of the juice I have was already at least a few weeks or over a month old when I got it so I have no idea what it tasted just made.
I can make an argument for steeping, to a point. Think about it. A good spagetti sauce or a stew always seems to taste better the second day. The flavors have had a chance to meld. Same thing with some soups or chili. I also think there is a lot of hype to keep us spending our money. Look at all the juice vendors. Many of them make a lot of the same basic flavors. A lot of them will come up with their own flavor combinations and name their concoction. But there are only a handful of the basic flavoring suppliers, from what I understand, and unless the juice maker is extracting their own flavors. So why would one blueberry, butterscotch or peach be very different from another? I don't get it. I know the peach from TPA may be a little different from the other flavoring companies, but what about the pg and vg. I read that there is a difference in the unflavored nic too.
I don't know. Some truth and some hype is what I tend to think. And I am probably wrong.
