I love Halloween :thumb:
We have 1000 glow sticks, 12 pounds of chocolate (maybe 9 by Halloween :p ) and 2 boxes of angry birds fruit snacks. Bring on the kids :)

Oh and I have 12 boxes if condoms for the "older" kids. I figure if your 22 and still trick or treating its best you don't breed

You truly are a horrible person!

The older kids want Budweiser!

I'll be working afternoon shift on Halloween night, so no handing out candy for me (unless there's some goodies put out at work).

Had a productive day today. Got my hair cut, bought new shoes for work, got some groceries and picked up some LorAnn flavourings. No, JJ, nothing that you're sending me, but amaretto, crème de menthe, brandy, caramel and a small amount of blackberry to try.

For anyone here who does DIY, have you any experience with liquid Stevia as a sweetener? I've been wanting to try it, but not quite sure if I should.

Dolores,

I would love to hear how the LorAnn flavorings work for you! Although they're much more available, some people think they're more difficult to work with in ejuice?

Slow day in here. I'm just making dinner for my men. Went into a local vape shop today. I just stumbled upon it. I didn't buy anything, just talked to the guy and checked out a Provari mini. It was real small, (the shop) but the guy was nice and let me sample some juice.

Hi Vickie nice to see you! How did you like that Provari Mini? Did you hold it? Is it heavy?

I tried the beauty ring things I have, both the one that came with the MVP and the protank one. But realized that they are not adapters. So I guess I do not have what is needed. Figures. But I am loving dripping into my 510 atty on it. I like my Gold up around 8.5 watts and the Caramel Pear Black Tea at either 8.5 or 9 watts. Can't decide. Watts are neat. My 510 attys are not the 2.3ohm that I was told, but came in at 2.0ohm. Since I vape on my spinners at about 4.0 to 4.6 volts, I guess I like my juice hot. (that does not sound right...)

Now my ohms reading on the same atty is coming in at 1.9 instead of 2.0 - can you tell why that would be? And I have taken 204 puffs off it. How neat is that. Probably going to have a complex now about how many stupid puffs I am taking in any particular day. Just what I need. Another complex and something else for me to keep track of.

Thanks Lox. That would be a great help. Which one do I need so I can write it down and remember. This newbie stuff gets old fast for me. I want to know it all NOW!

No wobble :) Same as the MVP1. My evod works on my MVP1 - tightened well. Not so much on the MVP2......I did manage to get a weak vapor started but then it cut out....it's definitely a connection issue. I think a 510 (batt) to Ego connector would fix this (if you don't like the i16) .....I need to locate one here - I know we have some around here somewhere.....

Shari I'll throw an adapter in with your juices. Now I don't feel so bad I forgot to go to the post office today ;)

ok frustration time, I got a bottle of Kingpin from a place called Vapor Society, out of California. It rocks, best flavor I have tasted to date. I can't afford it, and there is no description, says coming soon. One person has it as a butterscotch/caramel, I am getting a vanilla but I don't know what kind and what it's mixed with, maybe a peanut flavor? I just don't know, I need to find this flavor cheaper, it would cost me $18-19 each time I would order it if I had to pay, which we know right now I can't. and I would need a few bottles per month. UGHHHHHHH I have a flavor that I have vaped almost all 30 mls. I love it and can't buy same. My friend gave it to me cause she quit vaping said she didn't need it any more. God bless her. I will never be able to stop vaping. Anybody ever try this stuff? Anybody ever heard of this company? till now I had not.

I am going to buy every vanilla flavor for DIY till I can come close to a match. I hope its not mixed with a bunch of flavors, as I cannot distinguish anything but the certainty that vanilla is in there.(primary flavor) I tried it top coil and bottom coil and dripped in a 510 atty. good no matter what device or atty I use. I love vanilla but they all fade fast this does not. I am thinking maybe they added marshmallow or something, it's not a sweet cream (buttery) and not whipped cream either. I have mead o list of possible flavors in it, as soon as I can I am buying the flavors. I have some liquid left from Prizm and some from JJ to get started, I have a 10 ml syringe and two- 1 ml pippettes

I need December to come as quick as possible.

On another front, I tried walking around today, got it in my head just in case I lose my case, I should be ready to go to work, not a good idea to walk. fell twice hurt my knees and back and hands/arms. got back in chair, sucks to be me right now. At least I didn't break anything, last time I fell over the dishwasher, not only did that hurt I bent the door all the way down to the floor. Thank goodness it still works.

Dolores,

Where did you find those LorAnn Flavorings? I've had a couple of their basics (pina colada and black cherry being the most exotic) but I'd love to find someplace that carries a full line in the US. (Shamefully, the only place I've found LorAnn is at wally-world!)

I would love to hear any info you have on sweeteners, nothing I've added makes "Sweet" for me, even though a couple of juices seem to make it work! Haven't tried liquid stevia.....

I know you can pick up liquid stevia in a health food store or someplace like GNC. A lot of people use it for dieting and low carb and diabetes to sweeten food. Read the labels, some have other additives that you won't want. Any place that sells vitamins will probably have it. Vitamin Shoppe has it in TN, probably has it online. They also had one that did not have a bunch of additives in it. Not cheap though.

I think I saw some in the supermarket a couple of weeks ago but did not read the label. It would be where the sugar and sugar substitutes are.

Mark, I found this thread, which has all of the commonly used flavourings, and percentages of each flavour to use.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/74109-guide-diy-flavoring.html

Myself, I find Lorann flavourings very easy to work with. I measure them out with an eye dropper that has graduated markings up to 1 ml. I'm now vaping Blackberry/Backwoods (blackberry flavouring with some of my NET extraction), and I used 1 ml of the blackberry to 9 ml tobacco (works out to 10% flavouring). It's actually quite good--I don't usually go for fruit flavours, but this one might just be a keeper.

In my neck of the woods, there's a Country Bulk store that carries both the LorAnn flavourings and liquid Stevia. I've been using my juices unsweetened, because I use such a high percentage of VG, but I was curious as to what sweeteners would be safe to use. I think I'll pass on the Stevia, and go with Lulu and Lox's suggestion to use liquid sucralose (if I find I don't like it in my juices, at least I can safely bake with it).

What you are doing with the blackberry I have done with the blueberry. Try some blueberry in your tobaccos. That is what got me off the cigarettes. Of course, unless you do not like blueberry. Lots of people are putting peach in with tobaccos too. And apple.

Thanks for the suggestion, Shari. Next time I'm picking up flavours, I'll have to try small amounts of peach, blueberry and apple. and maybe some of the other fruit flavourings (like mango and pineapple).

Lox, thanks for the sucralose from Good Prophets tip.

Wizard Labs has Lorann flavorings, along with the TFA. And I think there are a few that have the oils in them, but if they do it is listed on the item.

The DIY liquids section is the best place to find out what has what and what is in it.

It was smaller than I expected. It didn't have a battery in it so all I could do was hold it. Sometimes I think I want one, but I could have so many other things for much less money so I never end up actually buying one.

I am on the fence about it. I want one, do I need it? I have no idea, I have never held it so I don't know if I would like it or not, Lox says I don't need it. He feels the Innokin product is as good, I have the little VV V3 Itaste and an SVD. I also have a mini Zmax so I guess I don't need it. I try very hard to stick to need not want. As for my dream list, it's on there.

So glad you had fun at the B&M they are good to see what is out there, I can't buy now but have my list of things I need to replace when I am ready.

I bought a 100-pack of envelopes of the powdered stuff, and then read that the powder is something like 90% glucose..... Will look for the liquid!
