I've never used saline. I was told a few years ago by someone that had tried it that's it's an atty and coil killer due to the residue it leaves behind. Ever see the roads after they treat them with salt brine in the winter? My understanding is salt doesn't evaporate. When it dries out its salt again. Don't think I'd want it in my lungs. But hey live and let live.

I am back on page 1661. No way to possibly catch up. Hello everyone.
Hello Lori! Sorry I missed you last night. ((((HUGS))))

You know what the best part of my interview today was? She asked me if I smoke. I said no, but I use an electronic cigarette. She checked me off as a non-smoker! :toast: :vapor:
That is fantastic!!

Beautiful Claudia! You are so talented!

So I had fallen off the wagon (again) and was smoking 1 - 3 cigarettes a day. When I was sick the vaping just was not doing it for me. But I stopped (again) and now its been 4 days. Not much but it's a start. I was sorely tempted today but I managed to resist. If I have one it opens the flood gates and I'll have another. At this point it's all in my head. I know vaping works and has worked for me. I just get in this head space sometimes where I just don't care. If I can talk myself into it, I can talk myself out of it as well. I really really really don't want to smoke. Sometimes I can be my own worst enemy.
It's all good Victoria! Don't stress, it'll all work out! (btw I love the name Victoria, if I would've ever had a girl that's what I was gonna name her ;) )
i run my music on pc while doing things it keeps me moving :rickroll::matrix:
I have music going all the time!

Good morning all! coffee?

Thanks for the coffee Dale! I'm heading for my 2nd mug of the day :)

Thank you everyone.
Erised I honestly don't remember why the flag is in that position, probably because it fit the rock better. I also have to admit that I never knew it was supposed to be represented in a certain direction, not that I would have done it differently had I known. LOL, I march to the beat of a different drummer, always have.
This was painted within a couple of weeks of 911 and I have absolutely no idea what I was thinking that long ago, other than feeling devastated by the events of that day.
It would have been compositionally wrong to have the flag flying in a different direction of the smoke though, that is probably the only reason. The smoke was billowing to the left, the flag had to be flying in the same direction as the smoke.
That is beautiful. Is there a symbolic reason for the flag being backwards?

If I've done my research right, it's not retreat, but advancement. Here's what came up at WikiAnswers:

"In wartime the flag is worn backwards to show advancement.. take the flag and put it on a flag-pole and run at the enemy.. it flies backwards."

And America advanced against, and defeated, the enemies that caused the devastation of 9/11.

As far as I can tell that is what Lox said. :)
Yes it appears that I accidentally got it right. LOL I have my doubts about having defeated those who caused 911 though.

Hi to everybody I missed and goodnight to everybody I missed again. Between the World Series and trying to empty some of the DVR out I have been flitting around. Tonight is pool night for DH, so I take him there and then do a little grocery shopping.

I broke down and ordered some 60mg nic in pg from HDV last night, it was 20% off. Plus a few flavors and eth.malt, and sweetener and a wall wart I needed. I looked it up, first purchase I made in a month, besides the MVP2. So I have been a good girl this past month. Well, at least compared to the two previous months.

Hey Lox and you Diyers, I read a thread about using a diluted saline solution in your juices. I remember Lox talking about the saltiness in caramel and I think either chocolate or coffee, can't remember which one. Would a little of that be a solution? In the thread they were talking about getting it in a mixture used for your eyes or saline from a med supply place.

I've also heard that saline will gunk your coils and wicks - it's the residue.

Not everything you can consume or put in your body is safe to vape however; just think enema
Saline solution for contact lense wearers is NOT safe inside your body! There are other things in there other than water and salt.....
And salt is dehydrating......can't imagine what it would do to the lining of your lungs!

Hopefully the companies that make flavorings will find a substitution that is salty and safe, just like we don't put sugar in our juices but rely on other flavors that give sweetness to do the job.
