Holy moly. That did not take long.

This is why I am not particularly worried about whatever the FDA thinks it will be able to do come next month. It will not take long for there to be ways around anything they decide to do.

From what I understand fasttech has people ship returns to an address in Florida. If they really thought about it and wanted to, they could just ship huge quantities of batteries and other questionable items to a warehouse in Florida and ship to the US from there. I would think this would solve one of their current problems revolving around the Chinese postal service.

You must excel at difficult jobs or are willing to do jobs that other people do not want. If it is a crappy job, I would charge a premium. Gotta make it worth your while.

Thank you, Lox and Jazz. I know that just because people here talk about something and some use it that it does not mean it is appropriate or safe. What had me interested enough to even bring it up was the mention that some vendor was supposedly using it in their juices, at a highly diluted strength of course. And also had some claim to an enhancement to certain flavors. The vendor's name was not mentioned because I would have inquired about it. I was thinking that salt would not be a good thing for your lungs or mucous membranes. It gets scary sometimes just reading about what some people are thinking and attempting to do in their vaping. The whole purpose of vaping is to find the safest possible way to replace cigarettes and other tobacco related products I thought.

I've also heard that saline will gunk your coils and wicks - it's the residue.

Not everything you can consume or put in your body is safe to vape however; just think enema
Saline solution for contact lense wearers is NOT safe inside your body! There are other things in there other than water and salt.....
And salt is dehydrating......can't imagine what it would do to the lining of your lungs!

Hopefully the companies that make flavorings will find a substitution that is salty and safe, just like we don't put sugar in our juices but rely on other flavors that give sweetness to do the job.

I hope my new avatar doesn't cause me a whole new set of problems like the last one did. I have literally been flitting around like a moth both mentally and physically, I certainly hope this is a peaceful rooster who doesn't cause me to go around starting fights. Should I begin to behave like a fighting rooster please tell me to change my avatar to something more peaceful, like a pit bull or something.

I just got back from visiting Jason in the hospital. He has a deteriorated disc in his neck and possibly a spinal infection. He's been in pain for a while and it finally became unbearable. His parents came and took him to emergency yesterday. He was crying. He had an MRI this morning and will probably need surgery. He quit his job a month ago, due to the pain, and has no insurance. The job didn't offer insurance anyway. I feel so bad for him. He has a history of drug abuse, and doesn't really take care of himself. He smokes and drinks way too much. I took him a change of clothes and an ecig setup. That is really all I can do for him. It's kind of a relief to have him out of the house, he's been a horrible grouchy bear lately and a drain on my finances. Please don't judge me too harshly for saying that. There is a lot of back story that I can't get in to right now.

i know your pains, i at times have to endure the n-laws when they screw up and end up living with us. i get aggrevated after the 1st month lol but thats just me. til now 3/4 of my wifes lived with us, 3 sisters, 1 brother and mom n law but i cant complain about her she was the only person who would argue with me and i didnt mind lol i mess with my wife at times telling her lets go dig up your ole man and he can stay with us for awhile, lol she hates that. november/december are the worst months for us as her pops pasted thankgiving morning, her mom christmas eve. i still have awful wallpaper in my kitchen her mother put it up, i argue that if anyone messes with it will answer to me lol funny how things end up in life. but thats just my thoughts atm lol

LOL, he's still kicking my .... on cigs not smoked. I've firmly stated I will order his stuff if and when I find it in stock, not before.

He's now asking if I'll search for flavorings for some strange combination that he thinks should taste good.

I really am surprised he's decided that juice is where his interest lies in vape stuff. I knew if he started actually LOOKING at it instead of accepting whatever I handed him, he'd find something he HAD to fiddle with, it's how he is. But since he is normally more drawn to building and find tuning things, I figured he'd go hardware.

I haven't seen him so blatantly interested in a new area/undertaking/hobby thing in quite a while. Odd, and it would be concerning except I know my male well enough to know he does not admit defeat. If it takes him forever, if he decides to do something it will be done. I guess on the scale of 'Oh god, help!' his goal of coming up with 2-3 juices that he considers awesome is pretty low, so yup. My male is being my male. Stubborn brat.

When my 30 year old son was little, I had to have a vaporizer in his bedroom and had to run it every night for him. It was pretty simple and cheap and you just had to keep it clean and fill with water every night. I think there was stuff (vicks type) that you could put in it too to help with the breathing. Times have changed so much that I do not know what is available out there now.

i dont mind cuddling with my son, its when he wants to grab the electronics next to me is the only reason he wants to cuddle that i dont like. he is about to take a long hot shower with me so he will sleep.

You really took the bull by the horns and are running with it with the DIY. At least you have found a couple of adv that you like. I tend to like the more complex combination juices and the stuff that even the vendors have a hard time pulling off.

I fell in love with Ahlusion's Caramel Pear Black Tea. So I was presumptuous enough to get a black tea flavor and some pear, to go with my caramel. I am going to play with the black tea and see if there is something I can come up with that I like. I have no allusions (hah!) that I can reproduce something that a well known top vendor can create. But it gives me an incentive to play. I also have some coffee and flavors that compliment it to play with. I bought some double ry4 tobacco and will experiment with that area too. The fruits have me baffled because I find I am not a fruit person outside of liking Lox's Swedish Fish. I am thinking fruit teas and fruits and creamy bases. Lots and lots of thinking going on over here. No actual mixing of anything except thoughts so far.

i have 1 adv but working on #2 cherry cheesecake / strawberry cheesecake its getting there but still a work in progress. my goal is to have 4 adv i can do 1 for a week then roate them. CPBT, thats an interesting blend. i moved away from baccy's a few wks after starting diy idk why but it works. after i get my 4 ADV, then ill work on more complex flavor blends

So, hubby update:

Finally asking about something besides egos or 'maybe' the itaste v3.

No, nothing to do with battery life or appearance or even VV/VW ability.

He pulled the connector area loose on his ego with pocket stress and doesn't want to risk actually killing anything.

So he asked how much batteries and stuff were in my toy (more descriptive coming from him) looking thing.

..he's all kinds of throwing me curve balls here. And I guess I'm glad I haven't ordered him anything yet. He still likes and plans on using ego types from what I can tell but wants something sturdier as his back up. So I guess I'll give him the ego collection while I figure out what he's after.

Problem is I don't think he even knows. I've tried showing him options, he's been advised toward a couple things, but he doesn't seem excited about any of it. And I really don't want to get him something if he's going to find something he actually wants as soon as it gets here. (sigh)

This was easier just for me. I am cooler with making myself play make do than with extending that to anyone else.
