The way I see it, it's my personal opinion and I'll stand by it, no matter who tries to litigate against me. In the context of the original thread no court in the land would hear the case anyway. So... Small claims... Even then it's highly unlikely.

Good for you. I do not know what was originally said, therefore I do not know what case JC thinks he has, all I know is that whatever he is up to now, is no good for the vaping community here in the UK. Last weeks M6 highlighted that e-cigarettes are around to a lot of people who weren't aware, now if this situation gets in the press, it can only be helpful towards getting bad publicity for electronic cigarettes, which in turn, will hit all the UK vendors - and US!

well the short version is this ... a person, who runs a large well known ecig rebranding company here in the UK does not like criticism, said person then went on a bit of a rant against said criticising persons, citing 911 conspiracy theories, alien arrival, wandering planets, the return of the messiah and other unrelated nonsense, oh and the Illuminati. End result, UKV gets shut down, temporarily, until an esteemed panel of mentalists, consisting of a monkey, a fish and a cork decide if it is safe to come out of hiding.

I was once told by a wise man, never write anything down that you wouldn't be happy repeating in court. Now you have to watch what you put on the Internet as once it's on there, it's very hard to retract it.

I agree with you, but, and I am second guessing here, I would imagine it would be wise to get some legal advice before the UKV owners re open, cover all bases.
