Getting annoyed with seeing this. Only reaffirms my love/hate relationship with the human population.

Some people get vaping, others don't.

Some are eager to learn, others resent it.

Typically the younger folks are eager and ready to learn

Mostly the older folks are unwilling to adapt or even try to learn.

But what REALLY irks me is when we teach someone how to use a product, explain all the tips, tricks, and foibles of a device, they take it out, BREAK it, then come back and say we sell junk.

You freakin' broke it. YOU BROKE IT.

"But... but... it shouldn't break!!!!"

Yes, and we can hope for fairies and unicorns to dance around leprechauns but dude, THINGS BREAK. And usually, it's because you BROKE them.

How come some ignorant user can break a clearo out of sheer ignorance and clumsiness and then blame the person who sold it to them? I came from a restaurant industry... Do we ever get a break from sheer human stupidity?

I swear, I just want a job that has ZERO direct contact with the Public. I just want to shuffle boxes in an unnamed, unknown factory, with zero interaction with the human populace other than fellow coworkers.

I see you have the "This job would be GREAT without the dang customers!" support mentality

Imagine your frustration with vaping...now add that level of frustration and brain cramping to COMPUTERS!!!

Never fear my friend...give it a few years and you too will be come a resentful cynical old fuddy duddy (by then technology will have advanced and the "kiddies" will have this new-fangled doohickey out and YOUR ultra high tech VCR will flash 12:00 all day too ;)

I apologize for any offense. For the most part, a lot of the older folks get it... Others, not so much. I can tell the difference between those who are willing and wanting to learn, and those who are deliberately making it more confusing than it really is.

Absolutely agree with ya...

 we say this at both of my jobs. I work with folks who 'think' they want to try vaping, then when I explain the first thing that might be construed at effort, the walls go up and they get defiant. That is fine with me, they can stick with cigarettes if they want.

You gotta admit, most of what we use to vape are prone to break, leak, burn, and need adjusting....not to mention the learning curve. The more I think about it, one must be very schooled on the subject and should be a user of the products they sell in order to bring a customer in to your confidence and guide them along the right path, all the while letting them know what can go wrong with the equiptment....and all of it has its own little problems. Just a thought as an customer (outsider) looking in.

Easy answer. "Start with Blu." and point them to the nearest gas station or market or bank or sewer, you really can get a blu anywhere nowadays.

Subtract out the arrogance in that suggestion, and you may be on to something.

I sure get tired of hearing about customers being outfitted with equipment that doesn't fit their needs. It seems like vape reps tend top push what works for them, instead of spending the time to consider what would work best for the customer.

My wife uses an E Roll- suppose that's gutter, too. Now that she is hooked up with the right juice, she might just quit smoking.

Do I need to qualify myself so that I am worthy to comment: I have about 450 to 500 in vape gear. Finally found what works best for me.

I have been in a support roll in the oilfield for about 18 years. I sure get tired of managements attitude that operators are less intelligent. Providing less than optimal equipment for a specific application is common, and creates on-going problems.

So, here is the suggestion. Take some time to see what common themes support staff address, and spend some time educating your sales staff. Or, just keep thinking customers are stupid. I need to look where some of you work, and make sure I avoid being a customer.
