What a doozy to read right off the bat. Reading the OP I literally had a wave of nausea, then rage and even a few tears as I tried to explain to my husband what I was reading. We have been in that boat and only made it through with the help of family. There are no words to express how badly I feel for you, or us that are ECFfor that matter, so I’ll get on with it.

Bad, it was because of you that I now own two ProVari Minis instead of an endless assortment of egos. Let it be known that my first little satin silver has now been christened Badi, and the little blem Tude. Fits them to a T, don’t know why I didn’t think of it sooner. We’re a very happy family and will be for many years to come, thanks to you.

You already have a proven body of work in your blogs and posts. May I humbly suggest that instead of writing memoirs out in the boonies, no offense Ocey, that you write a small ebook about battery and vaping safety and how-to. You could even touch on the basics of DIY and threat of coming regulations. It won’t make you rich but could bring in some nice extra change.

Knowing the quality and reliability of your work, I’d have no problem recommending it and I’m sure most others would too. I’d be honored to buy the first copy.

There are plenty of knowledgeable and highly educated people here to help proof the text and content. It doesn't have to be an A-Z encyclopedia of vaping, just something to assist beginning-intermediate vapers. Please give it a thought.

We live out in the boonies, in a hole no less, and can’t get TV, any worthwhile radio and until recently, only dialup internet. With a local startup, we can now, usually, get an unlimited 1GB connection for $30 a month. It’s good enough to watch non HD videos and such. Perhaps there is something in your brother’s area like that. Since we can’t talk about it here, can someone please tell me if there is a thread or site titled “Getting Bad Internet Service ;) “

Wishing you the best Bad, may everything look up for you here on out and hoping for your speedy return to ECF.

Now to go back and like every post.

ETA Nice offer Davey!

Ah Baditude! I'm sorry...agism is perhaps one of the last "acceptable" descriminatory processes we've got today in the workforce.

I've taught my daughter better of it, to not trade wisdom for youthful vigor on her teams at work, and it's benefited her.

I've been told I wasn't a "go getter" for jobs in the recent past when I'd interviewed, I rolled my eyes and said "so basically I'm not a YOUNG go getter" as they'd paused with a"Ya er..go getter" out of their mouth..:(

If you ever come to the Houston job market (which is booming if you can get past you're an old fart) *HUGS* Ed goes through it too...in what he does, but you're in our prayers!! (you were one of the first people that greeted me here and I've not forgotten it :) )

write, blog, your posts were always entertaining AND informative!!

any industrious old regulars of the board feel the need to do one of those online contributions things? I mean thousands read this board, and you've helped thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, and what's a buck via paypal?

Take care!

What she said. And she knows more about me than most. I have written my way through hard times, and it does provide hope. You can do it!

You can talk about it in PMs, but not start "help" threads. As much as we love Bad, there are other vapers in need and the mods have requested we not start those kinds of threads.

Wow, terribly depressing news, you will be greatly missed!

How far are you willing to move? Omaha, Nebraska too far?

Here's a completely bat#$%& crazy idea:

You could contact Clark from Nicoticket and see if he has any job openings (or future). I've got an empty 1bd rental house you can stay in for FREE indefinitely. Once some money starts flowing you can find yourself a better place to live (house is in the hood, but acceptably safe). Also NE has a ridiculously low unemployment rate.

Dead serious about the offer too.

Either way, best of luck in everything!

The ideas and suggestions are wonderful but we are getting into territory that got http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...sion/493592-baditude-appreciation-thread.html shut down. Please, now the that idea has floated, let’s keep to the original post and wait until someone posts a link. Don’t want to see this thread closed either. Many more have yet to say their goodbyes, at least for the short term. Eek, I sound like a mod.

I concur. Similar ideas were discussed during the Baditude appreciation thread I linked to earlier, and the thread got closed by a moderator because this is prohibited via ECF rules. Rules are in place for a good reason. There are a lot of people in unfortunate circumstance like myself, and its not fair for one person such as myself to take advantage of their popularity at the expense of others.

So PLEASE lets all stop any talk about helping me out. I appreciate everyone's desire to give a helping hand, but this is not the kind of help that this forum is designed for. Baditude is a tough cookie and he will get back up off the ground after he takes a much needed breather.

Bad, I can't tell you how much a learned from your blog and posts. Most of what I know about safety and batteries I learned from you.

You will leave a void here and I am sorry to hear that you will not be with us. I'm going to stay positive, you will get everything back in order and be back with us soon.

Best of luck to you Sir! I am deeply sorry to hear of your troubles.

Thank you for all the knowledge you passed my way.

Somewhere out there
with the amount of experience you have with vaping...why not start a vape store and online vape store?

my friend started a store selling authentic and clones and juices, hes not rich, but it pays the bills

Good idea.

Baditude, your endless patience, knowledge and objectivity will be sorely missed. Hurry back!
