I agree about the mod being more-so for Veteran vapers, not so much the tank. The only reason I said that initially is because, at the time of my first impressions, the whole kit was the only option.Peta...I think I disagree...
New Vapers...Kit might be worthwhile...to try a new tank and Mod...
Veteran Vapers...Most have already found a tank (or tanks) that they like and have little interest in adding another tank (and yet another set of coils) to their rotation. Seems, to me, they'd be most interested in getting the Mod by itself...
Does the Mod have a spring-loaded 510 pin...(or, at least, an adjustable one)???
..
To caveat that, however, a lot of veteran vapers are strictly mouth-to-lung vapers (who may love this tank). A lot of new vapers are strictly lung hitters(who may hate this tank). I have friends who have vaped for 4 years, and wouldn't use this tank unless it has a 2.2ohm coil head or higher. My brother who's been vaping for 3 weeks wouldn't touch a tank without a 0.5 ohm or lower coil head. So it's crazy subjective.
I use the Balrog Kit when I go out and about. I personally don't like fogging up out in public, Starbucks, restaurant etc - don't like bringing on unneeded attention to myself. So that's when I use this kit's combo setup. My girlfriend also doesn't like when I fog the car up as she can't see lol.
At home, I throw my MTs or my Griffin, drippers etc on there. So it's versatile depending on what you need.
I didn't mean to mislead, there's just tons of different vaping preferences, new and old vapers alike. The 0.5 ohm coil head is what I figured veteran vapers may like.
