Hey guys,

This morning I was lucky to receive a Youde Goliath v2 to review.

My YouTube video will be up in a couple of days (for real this time! having made my first video over two months ago and still not done a second. I am all prepared this time and it will be out ASAP :) )

In the meantime here's a bunch of photos and I'll do a quick text review later tonight or early tomorrow.

This thing looks like a rockstar. Youde is a company that is actually capitalizing on the demands of DIY vapers. I have two of these on preorder and am excited to try them. The fact I don't have to dremel out the canals make them worth it to me lol
Airflow for days. I absolutely love this thing. Super easy to build on and I believe the deck is a little bigger than the v1. I was able to fit 2mm 24ga with absolutely zero fiddling with the coils. Wicking channels are massive. Even easier to wick than the v1, believe it or not - It appears to be a little more forgiving. I can chain vape 90+VG with no issue. My v1 could handle 2 long pulls and need a sec to absorb some juice in-between - this one, I haven't even worried about a dry hit yet.

Super impressed with this. Mine came with 2 Kanthal prebuilt disposable coils - so I can't comment on their ni200 coils, as it's supposed to come with one of each. Probably a mistake on their part. If anyone has any questions about it, I know that Bloke is always glad to help, and I can try and answer any questions too! If you're on the fence about this one - I highly suggest it!

The fact that it's a 2 post deck means this should be really easy to build on. I also saw VLS was making a tank too, will probably end up getting both. Hopefully online shops start getting these in stock soon.
Apparently between 15 and 20 July is when they get to shops. I have one coming from VapeNW as well as this tester Youde sent me, and VapeNW said 15-20 July. It'll be worth the wait IMO!

Oh crap, now I have to buy a V2. It was the dual post deck that first got me interested in the v1. Since they kept it on the v2, it already looks like it's going to be a keeper.

The one thing I don't like about the v1 is no inner chimney, so the build can get disturbed when removing the deck for filling. Did they deal with that issue on the v2? It's a small thing but it was the only "con" I have for the v1.

@TheBloke,
You were responsible for my last three purchases, SXK Flask, Goliath V1, and an Aqua V2!

All clones but this will be my first authentic! I'm getting this and the Goblin mini. Youde has done a great job, very flavorful and builds are not difficult. Now that we have titanium for TC coils duals are much easier to make and fit inside these build decks.

Anxiously awaiting your review and thoughts after using it a bit.

Thanks,
Sean

I'm going to pass on this one. The deck still looks to be small. Just a prettier version, and I don't do single coils when lung hitting. I find myself dripping more than using the V1 anyway. Thanks for the pretty pics.
It's larger than the v1. I can get 3mm 24ga coils in there, no problem. One other reviewer got 3.5mm 23ga in there. It's definitely larger. Having said that, the 3mm diameter coils halved my airflow and I promptly pulled them out - but it can be done.

They should make a similar deck for ni200 builds to the Lemo 2 Deck. Since the Lemo 2 deck is wide enough for 15 wraps of 26 guage nickel. Lemo 2 has been the best deck for my temp control. The fact that the decks are replaceable means they can keep making new decks for people to buy separately.
