Why do you say the voltage reading is off? Don't mix that up with the fact that these LTs use pulse modulation and deliver a stronger hit. I lower my voltage between .2 - .4 volts relative to my Twists.

Atomizers I run at around 4.2 on my ego twists perform on the Young June at around 3.2

I think I'd be more suspect of the Twist before the Young June. That's not to say one or the other is off. Either one (or both) is possible. I measure the voltage with my multimeter from time to time on my LT (just did it now) and I'm consistently reading .07/.08 volts higher on the MM than I have reading on my LT. Pretty close. YMMV.

Let's not have a presidential debate here :D

My Young June lasted a little over a month and I had problems with the battery post o-ring the entire time. It won't even turn on now.

That seems to be the Achilles' Heel of Young-June Vtubes. While the v1.5t version with the flat top connector seems stable, the v2.0 with the eGo-style drip well is definitely wonky. The connectors themselves seem to be way under spec in terms of the quality of the silicon o-ring insulators. I've had two of those go south on me---a chrome v2.0 from the first production run that died after three months (and defied repair because of the way the 510 connector is mounted into the top cap), and a black chrome Mini that just bit the dust after a month (began alternately shorting out and/or firing by itself, then wouldn't even turn on) and has been mailed back to the vendor to exchange for a new revision on the way that supposedly fixes the problem. I'll believe it when I see it.

I picked up a used YJ, and the only weird thing about it besides an amazingly short battery life is that I often have to click the button two or three times before it fires. Not sure if it is the button or maybe the vivi nova I have on it....?

take the battery out and shoot some compressed (canned) air up the tube several times. aim it at the fire button and you'll feel air coming out around the fire button. I thought mine was dead.... wouldn't turn on... would auto-fire. compressed air fixed it up.

Thanks, that is a super help. I'll try it next time I have my air compressor fired up.

If mine dies and I want to replace it with another one, someone posted a really cheap lavatube from china:

I order from China and wait the 14 days. Vamo = $27 and Lavatube = $23.

VaporBreak

So far two orders have been 14 days each. The customer service is really great for Chinese vendors (from experience).

If it is half decent it is quite the deal for under $23 shipped. 18650 lavatube - VaporBreak
