Thanks for the continued suggestions. Blue, I had the same thought and will qualify my words if given the chance by the committee. (I've received no response thus far).

Just FYI, I was basing that nic argument on information I'd found from some academic sites like this: FAQ: Nicotine (tobaccoharmreduction.org) (there's a section there on e-cigs as well).

That was a good read; I hadn't seen that one before. Thanks for sharing, jeffree!

I hold an Life/Health insurance license in Louisiana and all of the applications for insurance that ask for information regarding smoking all ask about "nicotine" use and not smoking or chewing tobacco. They don't ask if you're a tobacco user, they ask if you're a nicotine user. Don't think this is providing you a lot of help, but it may help you redirect your wording a little in your presentation. Good luck! The benefits of switching to ecig are so much greater than not quitting just because you can't handle not having the nicotine! I hope you win your fight.

Two things happened tonight in my breakroom, first I was talking to another employee about his tomato plants, and he freaked a little when he saw me vaping ( he just changed shifts so i usually don't see him). After I explained what I was doing he didn't blink , he wanted to know how to help his plants :D
Then right before I left the breakroom (had the phone so was a very short break) my store manager came in and asked me if I was still 'cigarette free' and I told him I'm going on my third year, he said,'Awesome'!
So even though i have lots of wants and desires about my job, I love the support and freedom they give me to vape, the other employees that come in reeking of cig smoke, not as much support.

Jeffree I decided to look into this and.....it's not good. Have you ever heard the expression, "Selling the receptionist"? It's a term in the sales world of spinning your wheels with the wrong person. In this case it is your HR department and/or the powers that be at your company.

Tobacco Cessation Library - Smoking Cessation Resource Library

Google: health insurers wellness programs tobacco free incentives

And yes, our good friends at Big Pharma have already laid their claims to push FDA approved cessation alternatives. I know, I know, Big Pharma in bed with the Big Insurers...what a surprise.
