Ok guys! most maybe remember the first smoke, Not the one while drunk at a party once, about 5 years before you started... but like the one that led to the actual habit.

And then the last one.... NOT Counting the slip ups... Just the last one of the Habit that ruled your life!
And how long did u smoke?

For me... First one was when i was 13, asking a little old lady for a cigarette at a bus stop, she didnt speak english...

And the last one was the 3 days after vaping, I had not had a cigarette at all that day, and only 2 the day before, 5 day before that but both my batteries died at the same time (Was running 2 seperate flavors)

I smoked for 13 years (Half my life almost)

For the first smoke, I remember the first time I got a head rush. I was maybe 14 or 15 or something. I brought it home from school and went to the park to light up.

I think I had figured out that day that you were supposed to inhale them. I probably had a handful before that which I don't remember. The thing about it that I remember the most was proud I was that I figured this out and could do it and that I knew I was doing it right because I got the head rush.

To this day, I still can't believe how utterly stupid I was. :(

My last one, oddly enough, I don't remember at all. I went up to the cottage (cabin in the woods, but on a lake with electricity for those who have different names for it) a couple of days after getting my first vapemail and only had a pack or so with me as I was determined. I don't actually remember my last one that day, but I do remember drinking by the camp fire with my friends and realizing that I haven't had a cigarette in hours and was fine. Tossed the rest in the fire and that was that.

To be fair, I tried one a few months later out of sheer curiosity, but I thought habit-ender was more interesting that my actual last.

Smoked for 15 years and been vaping for 8 months or so.

My first was also at 13. I ditched school with this girl that I thought was hot and we went to the mall and she was like, "Do you smoke?" and of course I wanted to be super cool, so I was like, "of course" and we bummed a GPC Menthol from a homeless dude. We cut school a lot after that and started hanging out with older kids and smoking a lot.

My last (so far) was yesterday. I needed to poop, and the vape just didn't work as well for such a need. It didn't really taste that good (the cigarette).

Smoked (have been) for 16 years.

I was more of a dipper than smoker, so I'll chime in on both aspects.

Smoking, I started that after I joined the Army. I smoked Camel's. I got medically discharged and rolled my own cigarettes to keep my hands and mind busy. Started with the short story. I stopped about 2 years later with that.

I got into dipping when I was 15. High school in Alabama, no one cared if we did it. First dip was in the middle of class and I was looked instantly with the buzz I got. Within 6 months I was up to 3 cans a day because I could do it all day, my pinches got bigger so I went through it faster. I did that until March 201 when I got into vaping. I smoked and dipped when I came home to add the smoke story in. I loved dipping more than smoking. It didn't stink my clothes up, I could do it in the apartment with no problems. I spit black, but my clothes didn't stink like cigarettes.

I have some Copenhagen Mint still in my drawer. I tried it a couple times, it burns the crap out of my lip so I stopped. I just don't enjoy it anymore.

My first ciggie was when i was nine got bored with the lesson in school walked to a local playing field to hangout till home time and a bunch of older kids were also ditching school they gave me my first and left me the packet. My last was nearly two and a half years ago when my cigalikes kit showed up haven't had any slip ups since I started vaping quite lucky compared to some. Had maybe a total of nine months smoke free between age 9-41 so happy to have made the switch :).

I will not disclose my first and how old, but it was behind a friend's garage where I saw him and asked what he was doing. He said he was smoking and asked if I wanted to try it. I did and the rest was history. I smoked for 28 years of my life. At the end of July 2014, I decided to get back into the vaping scene as I had once before but cost wise to say the least was more expensive than traditional analogs. My last smoke was on November 11th 2014 @ my 9:30 am morning break. I had been limiting my smoking from July to November. Each day smoking less and less. Now I have been smoke free for 105 days :D:vapor:

While I have memories of "trying" a stolen cig here and there, I think the first conscious decision I made to smoke was when I attended a summer program away from home when I was 16. It was a college town, so I was never carded when I walked in and bought a lighter and a pack of Marlboro Lights (I figured smoking the same brand as some of the cute girls would be a good way to insinuate myself into their circles ). From there, I went straight to a park and smoked the whole thing like a pro--and then laid down on a bench because my head was spinning so much.

My last cigarette was about four weeks after I started vaping. I had just started a new carton the day I bought my starter kit and, using smoker's logic, decided to finish it so as not to waste any cigs. I've never had a carton last that long... and the last pack tasted like the presents my cat leaves for me in his litter box. The last one was April 6, 2014, at 10:30 am. Haven't had one since...

It was too long ago to remember just when I started smoking, but I was a late bloomer starting in my early 20's.

My last one was June 23 last year, The day I bought my vape gear around noon, I had two smokes the rest of the day just so I wouldn't feel like I was going cold turkey. I didn't really need or even want them, just wasn't ready for that final smoke after trying and failing so many times over so many years. I got by the next couple days without a smoke and not even having the urge, but then both my batteries ran out within 15 minutes of each other. Facing an hour or better to charge up enough to vape, I had my last cigarette. I also learned to switch tanks on one battery when changing flavors instead of leaving my two tanks on their own batteries and switching systems. It's been a piece of cake since then, but man have I collected the gear to make sure I don't run out of vape again.

First: sometime in 1979-80. I was 10 or 11 years old. Salem Light 100, stolen from mother's pack. I took it outside and smoked it behind the garage. I didn't inhale it. Actually, I think I was more interested in playing with the matches at the time.

But it definitely lit the fuse. By age 12 my friend and I were swiping cigs from anywhere we could get our hands on them and smoking in our secret hideouts.

Last: Wednesday, June 11th, 2014, 7:30 PM. Camel. During a month of vaping and somking, I'd gradually tapered down from 30 to 15 to 8 to 4 a day. Last couple days before I quit, I was down to two a day, one in the morning and one in the evening after work. Walked across the street, bought it (you can buy singles at any store that sells cigs in MX), came back home, and lit it up in the back yard. About 4 puffs through, the mother of a student called me. While talking to her, I snuffed it out and somehow knew it was to be my last one. Next morning, emptied the ashtray, washed it, put it away. Then I went to the vape shop and bought a new Ego C-Twist and Aspire CE5 glass (Glass...WOW!), which for me at the time, was a huge step up from my rinky-dink EGO-t and no-name CE4's. Noteworthy to mention though, that those are the setups that allowed me to kick my 36 year addiction to cigarettes.

Haven't looked back...yet, but there's always tomorrow. :)

I was 15 when I had my first one and I had my last one October 12, 2012. A total of 20 years of smoking.

I always said I was going to quit before I was forty and I did!
I told myself the same thing. Problem was, I also told myself that I'd quit before I was 30, and then before I was 35. I did, however, manage to quit before I was 45!
