Your Single Best Advice for Newbies

With all the advice that gets tossed around here, I thought it might be nice to compile a list of helpful tips. So:
What's the single most, number one, best bit of advice you can give to someone just starting? (Try to limit yourself to just one!)

I'll start with the most obvious: read, read, and read through the threads at ECF.

As a newbie, I'm really struggling with this one! I haven't even gotten the stuff I ordered yet and I'm already jealous of people's pretty pretty provaris and fancy tanks!

Don't try to buy something that looks/feels/tastes like a cigarette. They just won't satisfy.

Go try juices at your local B&M store. I started and bought some online and what sounded good when I bought them, weren't that great when I got them. The local store will usually let you try numerous juices to see what you really like.

Don't buy the cheapest setup you can find just to see if vaping is for you. If you do, you may get discouraged and give up. Good battery, good toppers and tasty juice are key. But you don't need to start with a ProVari or SvoeMesto--Innokin batteries (MVP 2 and VV V3) will offer a great vape and tons of useful features for a reasonable price.

Exactly that! And the one thing everyone always forgets... a backup charger! Because the time between receiving a new one and having your last charged battery be drained might leave you in a bind.

If there are vape meets near you, go! Take a friend. Smokers are welcomed. You'll meet new friends and vapers and see all kinds of wonderous stuff!

Research your next steps before you take them. If you want to use mechs read everything about them first ie battery safety toppers etc. Don't buy one and then when it overheats/blows up wonder what the problem is.

Don't go cheap. Because that is exactly what you will get. Seen friends cheap out and led them back to smoking.

Keep it simple. At least 'til you get the hang of it. You don't need to know about ohms and wick material until later. You can stop smoking with a good starter kit.
