Also as a side note I don't hear a lot of about people setting things on fire or things being set on fire in the external battery vape world though of course it is possible. Now I concede that the usage and the danger zones for the two products are significantly different but not all of these Teslas have been in some sort of accident when they decide to become a massive chemical fire. Aren't the Tesla batteries the same and aren't they in a safety pack? Does that mean that vape mods mask produce vape mods have better safety features than a Tesla? Or am I just confusing two things that really have nothing to do with one another? Which is completely possible because I know next to nothing about Tesla's
Well remember the Samsung phone battery debacle years ago? And those weren't even user-removable batteries. Just up and exploded on people. I forget what specific galaxy model it was, bu it was probably over 5 years ago now.

The Model S and X used close to 7000 than 3000 18650s. But just like laptops, they aren't very high-drain / high-current cells. 21700s are used in the Model 3 and Model Y. But Tesla's new hotness is 4680 cells, which are just starting production.
