If I don't change a thing, I've got 19-20 years worth of nic. Chances are that I'll start to drop from my current 15mg, once/if I make it halfway through.

Worst case, the vapin' kids will split it up "post departure".

I'm pretty sure I've got enough mods and "stuff" to last even longer.:lol:

I dropped from 15mg to 10mg. That lasted about a week and a half, I sat down, ciphered it all out and bounced it back to 15. I figured I was using the same amount of nicotine by vaping more frequently. I am a firm believer in the risk reduction of vaping but, still, I did not think that more puffs of VG was a real fine idea. So, up I went and liquid consumption is back to normal.

I've knocked two family members down from 18 to 3, but stretched over a 9-10 year period. I dropped them 1mg at a time, stretched out...

One of them didn't even know it until I told them. :nun:

I have NO idea if that would work for me, but it's the most likely path. Big drops would fail me (miserably).

That's a big drop. It's taken me five years to get from 15 to 12.5, 0.5 mg at a time. My rule is: Drop another 0.5 mg only when a 120ml bottle consistently lasts me at least four weeks. I think I'm almost ready to go to 12.0.

I dropped from 12 to 8 without issue. Then a couple months later I dropped to 6. I'm still at 6. Been months now. I doubled the nicotine in my freezer without buying any. :D Gonna try to do it again, but not sure when.

You won't know until you try it. Not like you can't go back.

My thoughts too. I know I’m going to vape x amount just out of habit and I balance how much I want with how much nic I need. I tried going down to 3 mg for a while but I don’t like the feeling of always needing more, not being satisfied.

I alternate between 0 and 3mg during the day. I have done this for at least 7 years and I know I can do 0 nic if I had to. I figure I am going to chain vape anyway so might as well keep the nic lower. For me it is the hand to mouth thing more than the nic.

That is a good measure, Rossum. One more time, I tip the hat to you. I mix unflavored in a 100 ml batch. Next time, I will put a date/strength sticker on the bottle and drop to 14mg and see how it goes. I see a spread sheet on the horizon.

This is very big to me. I noticed this when I dropped from 18mg to 15mg. I vaped no more that usual, never missed the 3mg I deleted. When I dropped from 15mg to 10mg, I realized I needed a balance between the two. I am so old with so much to learn.

I went from 24mg to 18mg, stayed there for a few months. Dropped to 12 and eventually to 6mg. After vaping for about 3 years, I dropped to 3mg and have pretty much stayed there but I do a lot of sft's and don't add nic so intersperse the 0 nic with my adv of 3mg. I am fairly certain I could drop the nic altogether but it does help me focus so I will continue with the low mg.
