Enjoying my morning espresso, watching cloud atlas and testing 4 different vape setups all with the same DIY blueberry juice.

The provari/mini kayfun set at 2.5 ohms and 3.7 volts - interesting but not exciting
The poldiac/Did set at .8 ohms and fresh bat - better not hold the button down long!
The orion v3 set at 1.7 ohms - 11 watts - ok, but again not exciting
The PAPS ver 2.5 LUX edition/Zatty U set at 1.7 ohms and fresh bat - Great button and by far the best taste/vapor of the group!

So many variables that I think I can easily spend 6 months to a years trying out my various mods/atty combinations.

The movie, pretty good. I think I'm going to have to watch it again to better understand everything..

Ya know, never went there. Had every chance, passed by enough times, just never went.

Here is one for ya Harry. Wife and I were talking about concerts we went to. She brings up John Cougar.... At Frontier Village.

Good Morning/Afternoon, all!!!

Oh, wow!!! That's going back a few years!!!

Frontier Village was one of those small, local amusement parks. Kind of "western" themed, and a popular place for kid's birthday partys. The tore it down for housing development in the very early '80s, and I remember stumbling across the location in the mid '90s while out doing a random bike ride. I recognized the place because the street names are the names of the old rides in the amusement park. :p

(There's also a neighborhood in San Jose where the street names are from Lord of the Rings... go figure! :) )

Honestly, I'll probably just go with the Altus. As much as the Launch Day set intrigues me, there's bigger fish to fry, and I'm generally a 18650 person. Plus, there's no word on if the website will carry Launch Day.. I figure they'll probably just be Vapestock pieces..

I wonder if you can buy the CT piece and thread it on an Altus body? I assume so. Maybe I'll grab one of those eventually.. I really did like Mike's.. It really doesn't taste remotely like a carto. Very strange. But makes sense, after he explained it.

I hope ENS posts how much individual tubes will be and all that jazz. I'm stalking their Facebook for the photos they said they hoped will be up today.

Most of "the rich and famous" I've met have nothing to prove, so they just dress... comfortably.

Cuz, why not?

This trend caused a bit of a ruckus here in Silly-con Valley back when, since all the finance people expected them to be all ascots and cigars... and wound up dealing with long greasy hair and blue jeans.

I am all in for a medius myself! that has GOT to be my fav new battery of all time. My Poldiac takes that size and its perfect so I am thrilled to see it will be an option.
though I must say I do know that breaking my pinkie when I was a kid has now made me have to fire the bottom button with my ring finger (my pinkie just does not have the strength in it to hit the button well or correctly!) Hoping that the extra length is not a problem later on with this. :) See why I am such a SW fan?

You know, that's the only thing sort of holding me back from a SW... the battery size. I've gotten spoiled with the 18650; I worry (probably unduly) about the batt life of the smaller batteries. But I am also totally loving the idea of firing with my thumb; hence the internal conflict. :) :) :)

I'll probably wind up getting an "Altus" myself, since I first started this journey into Zen~ looking for a Standard to begin with.
But I may get something else too... eventually. :p

Hi ninfreak, no need to lurk!!! :)

My dad decried the loss of his childhod amusement park and the fact he never got a chance to take me there as it closed when I was 4........:(
Riverview Amusement Park had a lasting impact on the city of Chicago. Most importantly, it allowed people of different ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds to interact with each other in an otherwise ethnically segregated city. During its 64 years in existence it was said to entertain over 200,000,000 people. It played important roles during Prohibition, the Depression, World War II, and the baby boom of the fifties and sixties. Helen FitzMaurice says in The Chicago Tribune, "Riverview, like a fading Viennese beauty, held on to her air of old world charm, even when time and the electronic age so ruthlessly forced their way upon her. I am glad that those who were responsible retired her before every vestige of her charm was gone." Even if Riverview and its impact are sorely missed by Chicagoans, its closing was sadly appropriate. In the age of "The Raging Bull" and "The Viper," "The Bobs" and "The Chute-the-Chutes" would seem out of place and belonging to another age. As society looks for more daring risks, technology must follow. Despite being in the shadow of the increasingly technological aspects of today’s amusement park entertainment, Riverview will stand out in many peoples’ memories for the good times they had there and in Chicago’s history for its important social impact on the city.

At Vapefest I actually drained a AW to the point that it tripped the protection. I wasn't paying too much attention because I had JUST got the sidewinder running a couple of hours before... Was busy talking, and had never had an 18350 battery before.. I had to go find bumpi and Annie and ask them if they thought it was even safe using the battery anymore

Yeah; there used to be a lot of these 'local' amusement parks. Unfortunately they are almost all gone now...

In the 7 - 8 years I lived near it and it was operational, I probably went to Frontier Village close to a hundred times. It seems excessive at first, until you consider this was the "go-to" place for kids on special events like birthdays. The adults could relax in the shade and have a few beers at the cantina, and know that the park was small enough that their kids couldn't really get lost... and just big enough for a young kid to feel he could.

Besides, the park was staffed with the same teen-age kids that the parents would probably have hired on as babysitters anyway, so everyone felt safe and secure there. It truly was an awesome place, especially for a 10-year-old boy like me. :p It was sort of like a public park, except you paid a (relatively small) fee to enter it, and there were rides and concessions as well as trees, gardens, and scenery.

Can you tell I miss it? I've been reviewing every article on the "remembering" web page all afternoon (outside of the time spent stuffing myself with pasta)... there's a video where a guy who is about my age wins an auction for the silly little gas powered, track guided car they found in another local park's warehouses a few years ago and bursts into tears as he realized he got a little chunk of his childhood. He calls his wife up and tells her he got it, and is almost incoherent. Honestly, it made me start leaking. :D

The first 15 shots from the beretta 9mm, 7 meters, double hand, rapid fire:

The next 15, same gun, 15 meters, single hand, rapid fire:

The first 20, Five seven, 20 meters, single hand, rapid fire:

Yes, yes, I know. I could certainly use some more practice to tighten up the groups but if this was a bad guy intending harm, I think any of these groups would have stopped him cold...

Which Beretta, BB??

I still remember when I got my model 94; it was one of those shops with a range in the back. I had previously had a couple .380s, one of them a Beretta (wish I kept it; those are kind of collectable these days)... and first mag of the 94 had me agog. Damn gun shot better than I did! :p :p :p
