Could not get my setup working. At all. I thought on it, drank some rum, thought on it more, drank some rum, then eventually stopped thinking about it and drank rum.

Hmmm I think I just identified the problem.....

I have found 28 4/5 or ribbon wire is far more mellow and better flavor than the 32. There also seems to be less of a hot spot/heat issue and moar vapor production. I guess I am not a Zen guy. Although, I extend an invitation for someone to get them from me .

I'm curious if zen is still wanting only 32 kanthal used even with the ceramic wicks. Could someone try to ask him tonight during the show?

Shouldn't CB be on right now? Or does it start in ten minutes? Doubt I can watch cause iPad no likey Flash... Can someone also ask how much the "Complete Zen~II Set" is going to be? AND if Mike is for sure about having those sets at VapeStock. That would be great n thank you in advance for posting the answers here!

I have tried the XS-116, but didn't try the xc because of this, which was taken directly from Omega's site.

"This material is intended for industrial applications only. In addition, Omega does not recommend this material for food, cosmetic, medical, or pharmaceutical use."

Correct, they sell it as shielding for wire and won't sell direct for our purpose because its not heat treated to remove manufacturing contaminates and they don't need the liability.

Reputable sites selling it are kiln treating it before sale.

Omega will not sell directly to you...

Hi Idaho, I haven't ventured away from 32 at this point, so I have nothing to compare it to. Then again, I just got my first Zen~ about two months ago.

Using it gave me the confidence to set up my AGA-T+ that I've had, brand new, since Jan 7th, 2013. Just set it up the other night n it's hitting great! I was concerned about the lack of an insulator, but I have it on a protected mod (an eVic) n all is good so far. Tho I did get lil shocks on the chin once in a while, the first couple nights. Hats the deal w/that, anyone else ever get those?

I have no insulators in any of mine but almost put one back in the TI....almost.

I dont think it is shocking you...I think it is the heat or juice from the air hole burning your chin my friend! Honestly.

Ok so one of you guys who has gotten Nextel or Silica running, give a breakdown of how your doing it. My foolin around here with Eko seemed the juice was just not wicking up well. Or at all really.
