Evening all.

So I decided to test the voltage while the unit was on with a fresh battery. Freshly charged, reported at 4.16V. Tested on the negative and positive posts, 3.66V. Is that normal to experience that much of a drop? This is on an SS mini.

Yes that sounds about right IF you are testing with your coil installed as that adds resistance in the circuit

For discussing a vendor that will be using his juices. He tried to abide by the rules but apparently, ECF doesn't see it that way. We gotta do something.

Its a narrow line you must walk down, you have to make sure you get permission first, I'm so sorry for my friend...:(

On the other hand, gatag and vaporhead had it coming, ECF is not a troll-friendly forum, when are people going to learn there isn't free hate speech here? Also, I now do not like the ability to change your username, the reasons people would seem to mostly to avoid their past, not just to make them simpler as you would think the main reason would be.....:2c:

Just another reason Mike is missed around here, can you imagine the evisceral tongue-lashing he would have dealt to them?!?!?!

Very sorry to hear about everyone's good friend SL_Rat and his current predicament.

I'm not completely familiar with the whole background of the story, but I get the gist of it- and while reading about what happened, I keep seeing some dude getting a black bag thrown over his head while he's swiftly taken away, never to be seen again...like the "digital CIA" have taken him in or something :(

...he made a mistake- but, like myself, he's been around these forums for going on 4 years now- there aren't many of us left from that era. Is this really what ECF is all about, and what it has come to? People used to get away with much, MUCH more than that back in the day before a truly "permanent" ban. And no, I don't feel scared talking about this because this is a forum.

n. pl. fo·rums also fo·ra (fôr, fr)
1.
a. The public square or marketplace of an ancient Roman city that was the assembly place for judicial activity and public business.
b. A public meeting place for open discussion.
c. A medium for open discussion or voicing of ideas, such as a newspaper, a radio or television program, or a website.
2. A public meeting or presentation involving a discussion usually among experts and often including audience participation.
3. A court of law; a tribunal.

Anyway, in other news, due to the crazy events that have been transpiring lately- and the fact that I finally got my Zen functioning properly again- I'm going to hold onto this little Zen Mini that found its way to me. For all its imperfections, it's grown on me. If I still don't like the scratches on it in a week, I'll sell it on the classies and buy a brand new one with no scratches, and be happy once again.

Good night to the east-coast crowd, good morning to the night-shift crowd.

Just curious, has anyone tried the 32g kanthal "twisted" coil? Is this bad to do or could this possibly improve the vaping experience?

Thanks!

I run this from time to time here lately. When you twist the wire, you half the resistance. It's not bad to do as long as you account for that. Keep an eye on your resistance and wrap accordingly. Will it improve the vaping experience? That I couldn't tell you. I like it, you might not.
