Lately, it seems that I'm just not getting the vapor production out of my Zens compared to the clouds you always see in Bonner's videos or many youtube videos. My coils are 32 ga and end up at about 1.5-2 ohms. I bought some 28 ga kanthal to give it a try. Although it's hard to wrap on the SS coil, I can get 4 full wraps and have 0.9 ohms. And the vapor production is out of sight! When I tried the ceramic wick, I wasn't too impressed and quickly set them aside. I think now I'll try hot-wrapping 28 ga around the ceramic and give it another go. The great thing about the 28 ga is that for the same length coil as 32 ga, I get a much lower coil resistance, and this works great. I've halved the battery life to recharge, but that's no biggie.
Heat finally broke here in S AZ. It was a gorgeous weekend. Heading back into the mid 90s for two days and then mid 70s later in the week--I can't wait!
That's one of the things I have always like about zens -- you don't like the vape, lose a wrap or change the gauge, you'll get to where you want to be quickly, I'm glad you figured it out....
