I'm not looking at anything too serious. Coaxial. I can't decide whether to spring for the 4 channel or save money and get the 3 channel.

ALWAYS go w/ 4 or more.... 3 channel you get what ya pay for it...at least w/ 4 channel, the controls w/ the coaxials are/should be the same as if they are a fixed or collective pitch model....

Wow it has been too long again, I have missed you guys!!!

It must be the day of old ghosts. Heya Kcos and the ob!!

Congrats on 1 year Miss Emma and on the getting of your first TI!!

Happy Birthday Tony!!! What did you get, besides your house all cleaned?

Congrats on getting engaged Ian!!! But next time wear some pants. That is how these accidents happen. You of all people should have learned your lesson by now.

I have started doing a show on "The Other Guys" network over on Stickam. Our show is named "The Other Girls" There are 4 of us and we have a lot of fun over there. Most of the show is not vaping related, however we have given a few vaping related prizes out. We are working on a contest to give away a Red Sidewinder with a heart and the winners name engraved on it for Valentine's Day. Not positive if it will be given away the Monday before or after Valentine's Day, but it will not be just a random number generator. You will have to work for this one. Details will be announced later this week. And no, I can not win this one. I will post further details as they become available.

I am gonna try to be around a little more from now on. At the very least a few days a week. I really have been gone too long. Love you all!!!

many of mine are 'scale' models and none of em are cheap.... my Align T-Rex 250 (TINY heli) has an NYPD hughes 500d fiberglass fuse, and w/o the radio it added up to $500...my most expensive to date I'm not even finished with yet... my T-Rex 500N w/ Desert Storm Hughes 500 TOW defender fuse, working navigation lights, flybarless and 5 bladed rotorhead...I won't even mention how much is spent on it already...
...my cheapest heli's (micro's) were around $100, and that's w/o the radio

Ian, my suggestion is, if you really want one, look for an Eflite mcx or mcx2. they used to cost $120 w/o radio, and recently they dropped in price around $80 w/o radio, $120 w/ cheapo radio...

they are mini, IMO the easiest coaxials to learn on, they can take a beating (I purposely dropped mine from 60ft ceiling and no damage..I sold my original to a friend and he's still flying it, I replaced it w/ the V2 just to have for flying around my livingroom). IF you buy an inexpensive Spektrum DX6i channel radio to go with it and IF you find ya like em, you can buy any bind and fly model and add it to the radio (stores up to 20? planes or heli's)

It can add up really quickly, but its still much cheaper now than it was even a few years back..

Its also a hobby similar to golf, in that you can get incredibly frustrated with it, but those few good moments keep you coming back for more...

so, how are you liking the sidewinder, Katz :)

I love that it's cap does not come off and it vapes pretty much the same as my Zap/Provari so it makes for a great going out device and it is more purse friendly too. The Zap on a full size provari is really long and loves to fall over in my purse. The only problem I have is I only own 2 of the 18350's and go thru those really fast. I still have not lined up the wick where I want it, but will the next time I need to make a new coil for it. It vapes fine right now, but the wick/coil is pointed to the side so it vapes perfect in my left hand for now.

And lots of great gifts from Manal, but the "stocking stuffer" gift from her made me smile the most. Only thing missing is my K-man Zenesis...

btw guys, im looking for a really good dripping atty, probably will use it on the 'vari for DIY purposes but dont like the e-baron anymore. anyone got any suggestions?
Get an AVA...they are pretty awesome and clean out easy, last forever
I've heard of people using dimes as spacers for the shorter batteries... but I'd make absolutely sure it's safe first! I don't know of a charger offhand that will charge the small ones. Sorry I'm not more help.
The dimes work...i do it if i have to charge 2 18350s at the same time, no problems, same charge time

LOL
That's my mushroom tanklet.
Made by Teena. She has a thread in the modder's forum.
They are sold through AIV. What's left anyway, she won't be doing them anymore.

I also have 3 of Bedazzled's "floaties".
Same concept, slightly different method of making them.
(I suggested the name floaties, so I'm shamelessly taking that credit. LOL)
A black and white one in my BAM, a violet/purple one in my ZAP and a smiley/alien face in my SS Standard.
I say smiley, Jade says alien 'cause it has a "nose". Teen logic at its finest.

floaties are on order, i can't wait!

Thanks Brian! That's what I was looking for. The MCX2 was the one I was looking at, it was either that or the Blade Scout CX (that's the 3 channel). I'll probably order one soon. Besides an extra battery, anything else I should order? Fortunately, there's a hobby store down the street that looked well stocked on parts!

I can't tell what that is. Is that a belt buckle? A money clip? It's really snazzy whatever it is. Oh, one question, did she have your name and address engraved on the back of it? You know when you get up there like you do, sometimes you forget things. Now, if you can't remember your name or where you live, it will easy for you to find your way (or help the police identify the body).

I see it now, K-man on a street corner like this.

Any news yet on the release of blue beauty from jail

Hey Stevo I just put a call into Health Canada because that's where I know it is. I called the duty officer and her boss and left them each a vm that went something like this:

"Hi you may not remember me but you were in pocession of one of my vaping devices for a period of 42 days Oct/Nov last. It would appear that you are now in pocession of another one of my vaping devices. No doubt a junior and overly zealous Customs Officer. We've been through this before and I would appreciate that matters be expedited this time round. (Private message Gillian I hope you had a good christmas and that your dad is feeling better) As always I can be reached at all times at (416)......."

I will now increase the number of calls and VM's until I get feedback and action.....just that simple.
