Apparently, at least in the state of NJ, they won't allow you to sign a will if your B12 levels are 200 or below.
Mine just barely broke 300, so I guess I'm just this side of crazy.

And you would think doctors would have figured out by now, if you get a patient's various "levels" right for them, you don't need any "magic pills".
Levels like thyroid, leptin, cortisol, and various other minerals and such our bodies use.

Don't listen to my history, consult your notes, knowing I've argued with docs for 15 years about this crap, then tell me I'll feel better if I lose weight and offer me the latest "magic pill".
If you would just take the time, and test me more often than once every 6 months, maybe we could get my levels adjusted so I could lose weight the same way people with normal levels do.

<end doctor rant.

Haven't even started on the husband and teenagers.

Got the parts in. Test results for the Zen SW.

No brass parts - 2.64v (very poor, pressed the button in multiple times and with various pressure, kept coming up with this number roughly)

Brass spring and screw in switch and brass screw and washers in the bottom of the battery bay - 3.3v

Added the brass screw to the delrin piece - 3.45v

Added the brass 2" screw that runs through the atty - 3.6v!!!!!

So the last set up, the only SS parts retained were the 2 washers in the switch and the spring under the atty in the delrin piece.

Also, I found this nifty website. Aparently aluminum is far more conductive than brass anyways. But steel is at the very bottom of the list.

i figured it helped some but thats awesome, cant wait to get the extra brass parts  and thanks for doing this

Sorry if you took it as condescension, that wasn't my intent. I was trying to explain how these were set up by Zen and explain to you how the use was intended by the manufacturer. I always do my best not to insult but educate. If I don't sugar coat, it doesn't mean that I'm being mean or rude, but providing information. I do what I can to help fellow vapers in need, several can attest to that.

Yes, running 4 or 5 wraps of 28 gauge will destroy the spring that comes in a Zen switch. Most folks here realize that. I run nothing but 32 gauge in my zens. Once you overload the spring, it won't conduct the same. Also, if you aren't screwing the tank or the switch all the way down or you don't press the switch hard enough, you could experience some loss of voltage.

Even still, I see 3.7V under load, with a freshly charged battery on my sidewinder with no modifications at all.

I had this exact encounter with another member through a google hangout a month or so ago, just trying to help them and they insisted I had no idea what I was talking about and made a huge production out of it. But after Zen explained exactly the same thing, that member accepted it...

I can understand that the spring can be ruined. I did buy my SW second hand, so maybe that happened before it even got to me. My personal taste is 28 and sometimes 30. Although, I have to say that you failed to point that out in the first discussion about the spring.

Second, you did say this however.

Morning, all. For those looking for brass replacement screws, springs, etc., for the sidewinder, feel free if you think it will help but if you are doing it because you think it will increase conductivity, the body is still aluminum, the switch and atomizer are still stainless. It's like the myth that a brass screw will magically make a stainless/aluminum pv hit harder. I hate to see someone spend time and money chasing down something that won't make any difference.

I think my tests are enough to prove that it is not a myth. Everytime I added another brass part to the equation, voltage increased. One screw at a time after the spring and screw in the switch. Also, my reference to material conductivity supports my findings.

Now I get what you are saying. If you get your SW new, DON'T use anything but 32 in it or you will ruin the spring. You should have just said that to begin with instead of saying what I quoted above.

Dude my sidewinder has not voltage loss without a coil. No modifications. Under load it's 3.75 with a fresh battery. Which is pretty close to my GG/ZAG which is 3.8 under load with a fresh battery. Can you explain that one?

Sorry for venting....
but I :censored: hate doctors.

Hate them all.

I'm not to thrilled with husbands or teenagers at the moment either.

Hope its only because the doctor did not have a very good manner and not because of the news he gave you.

As far as husbands are concerned can'y help you there I been broken in for so long I forget what it feels to be "non-compliant", As for teenagers they are almost as complex as wives except they grow up and leave then we either:

1. can't get them to come home for a visit; or
2. They move back in and you can't get rid of them

I'm a good doctor...I can't prescribe. I had a man in here today who was so happy, I thought he was going to dance out the door...LOL.

I, do, however uderstand what you mean. My friend and I were discussing doctors the other day. All they seem to want to do is throw pills at you.
I have passed the office of a holistic Doc in my town. I might give him a call and see what he's all about.
