We booed that damned mellenkamp off the stage in 3 songs..........

One of the funniest bits I ever heard on radio: The guy was from the same town "John Cougar" grew up in, and was shopping in the local drug store back in the mid '80s right after he got famous.

He overheard this early teen-age girl asking her mom to buy her a poster from one of those flippy-frame poster displays with the rolled up tubes in the stock bins underneath. "Mom, I want this one!!" she said, pointing at some promo poster for him.

Her mom replied, "$5.00 for a picture of little Johnny Mellencamp?!? I think not!! If you want a picture of him, we'll go down the street and get one from his parents!!"

For some reason, that story tickled me and has stuck in my memory ever since.

In honour of your Memorial Day if I may, as a Canadian and a former infantry officer, offer the following poem written in World War I by Lieutenant Colonel John McCrae. It was penned after dealing with the horrors of trench warfare and the loss of a friend in the poppy fields of Flanders in Belgium. It is a poem I learnt in grade 5 and can still recite it from memory

lol going with 8 adults & 8 children for a week and I am the only vapor sadly.
I think the thought of 8 kids between the ages of 2-6 is the reason for the juice (mass vaping for sanity)

Although the wifey said she wanted me to make her some 6mg juice and setup a device for her for the week (she doesn't vape, smoked several years ago)
So I whipped up some strawberry icecream juice for her and set her up with the sidewinder (metal tank)

In the back of my head I said well what if I run into vapers and they want some juice, better bring extra.

And tech the deshock and shocker isn't for me, gotta fill 120 sample vials this week for a partnership I formed with vape'n'shine. Now when you get your shiney mod back your gonna also get some g2vapor samples.

In other news got my chi in today thanks to a very good friend and it definitely lives up to the hype. Button is simply amazing and it is quite beautiful.

I was feeling ornery(sp?) last night. Really thought I'd get some "What the feck?" comments from my VapeMail post last night too. Especially since there was a BAM (my dream PV, some day...), along w/a couple GG's n Paps n a Diver, etc, n everyone knows all I own is the MFA Mike gave me, n my ProVari. There were like 10+ MODs on my kitchen counter last night, I just HAD to snap a pic! But, alas, the thread was too dead n my humorous attempts fell in empty halls.
