KMAN! I think rockstar may be on to something. if you are filling from top you may be unscrewing the evap chamber at the same time, fairly common. Also, are you covering airhole when filling?
Filling from the top can cause flooding. What I do is fill from top, screw mouthpiece on just barely, cover airhole, flip it upside down, screw on rest of way. This should cause the air bubble to be over the fill channels so ya don't flood when tightening.
Works mostly well. Sometimes I get some juice down the mouthpiece if I am not quick about tightening, so first few times trying this do it over a paper towel.

This is exactly what I do, no leaking... Took me a couple days to figure this out...
The filling seems to be the trickiest part. Outside of that these things are awesome and I really have not played with the Genny so much lately.
You can buy plastic fill needles that work on the fill hole. Have a couple on the way in, can PM me if anyone needs to know where to go for them.
Tried from the top and even when it looked full, the fluid level went down after I screwed everything back on. So I used the fill hole this time, filled er up to the top, and now it leaks from the air hole.
Sounds a lot easier than grabbing a syringe and inserting it in the fillhole..........
Though someone you happen to know has broken some tanks and will be using a syringe to make a couple later! This should be an interesting addition to my idiot saga I am sure.
Alky won't hurt it.I just dunk a q tip in alky and swab everthing cept the delrin.I don't think the alcohol will affect the delrin,but i try not to soak it with the stuff

If done properly it doesn't leak, that's worth something, to me at least...no need to carry a syringe either

Kinda gloomy and overcast here in the Bay Area; with light rain falling on the North Bay.
I just realized I've passed the last 4 days like a kitty (and I don't mean I spent 4 days staring at invisible bugs)... doing nothing of significance, eating, and taking naps.
Can't think of a better way to spend a long holiday weekend!!!
I am intrigued by the Kayfun. Of course, as soon as I get interested, the shop goes to very part time (for admittedly good reasons); just my luck!
