HiYa Miller! Past several Night Shifts here I've missed you, sniffle-sniffle... where ya been?
Thursday's Night Shift I offered to buy some Nextel n share it w/everyone. As a way to give back a little, very little (comparatively), to my Zen~ brothers n sisters new n old. Also, as a good way to celebrate n count down to the release of the Zenesis II system. By Friday evening I had twelve takers n no one had added their name for hours, so I wrapped it up n ordered enough to send everyone a section to try w/out having to buy a bunch themselves.
I purposely bought extra incase there were one or two people who missed the Zen~II Nextel Giveaway. If you're just curious, I'll gladly send you out a section. But if you're "sold" n want to order yourself a bunch for all your PVs, or if you just want it quicker, that's cool too. Just PM me your address (soon) if you decide you want to sample it, I'm sending out enough for you to make mistakes n make a couple good wicks too!

Morning! I got a small section of Nextel at a little vape meet on Saturday. Haven't had time to try it as I've been trying to keep the dog in the yard all weekend, to no avail. A friend came and helped me block his escape routes. My feeble attempts were not the best.
Hope this week is less eventful than last week. The weather is suppsed to be cooler, in the 70-80 degree range, which is much more reasonable IMO.
I might have a little deal in the works to get Z2.....

hey man! I appreciate the generosity but i bit the bullet and ordered some earlier! I should find some use for it
Currently Ive had a few extra days off here and there and when Im off I spend less time on the forums..... next weekend starts the beginning of my ridiculously long vacation and I am super excited!
Also trying to decide wether or not to bite the bullet on a brass RBA. With so much cool stuff coming out soon I really dont want to spend the money lol. Ive also been contemplating selling my cobalt to put towards the Z2 fund. I know, I know, im crazy right? was my first ever zen. But not sure how much ill use it if I start investing in some modular mix n' match stuff haha

vaca starts on thursday the 6th and I dont go back till the 22nd. Road tripping it down to tennessee for a music festival on the 12th. Cant wait to see sir paul mccartney!
The brass RBA i think is called the annunaki sun from epipe mods.... I think its a very limited run and its awesome looking.
Yeah took a while for us to grab our first Zens
which is why I hate even thinking about getting rid of it. As long as I still use it it will be in my collection.... if the time finally comes and It starts collecting dust it might have to be passed on

I still need addresses PM'd to me from a couple of you on the list for a section of Nextel Wick. I'm expecting it to be delivered tomorrow or Wednesday.
I already have all the addresses, that I do have, written on envelopes w/stamps because I'm going to mail them the day I get the Nextel. Will have em all mailed before I even let myself set up my MFA, promise!
BTW:
1) No, I didn't get orange colored Nextel delivered Sunday
2) Yes, it's a rattlesnake in the picture, appx 3 1/2' long. Still to young/little to have more than the first row of buttons (rattles)

Why yes it is. I have plenty of bullies to top each one but kind of forgot about it. I enjoy the look and feel of the cherry vape tips on a daily basis..
A "fat" wick consists of either 400x400 wraped inside 325x325 or a piece of your choice of wick-200, 250, 325,400 rolled loose and with a big diamiter straw like or tight with a big diamiter and solid., these variations, which works for your particular application of juice blend, is the one for you.
Well, I've never unrolled a stock zen wick. I suppose my Nextel mesh was about 1/2" by 2" making the wick 2" long just for ease of handling since I didn't stuff it all the way to the end and I just clip off the excess Nextel and mesh. I did roll it pretty hard and make a point on one end. Most of the time the mesh was sticking out of the mesh on the top when I begin rolling the coil. I've also never measured any mesh for a wick. It is nice to see Chris' measurements and I was thinking about getting out the tape measure, but I haven't done it yet.

On another note.... looks like zen and matt from epipemods beat me to the pipe idea. Looks like I probably wont be moving forward with that now
The good part is that my two absolute favorite mod designers are banding together to hopefully create what would be my unicorn device! I really have high hopes!

I have found that torching the Nextel on the roll and then cutting to size keeps the fraying to a minimum. Don't know why?

Yeah, I overwick too at times. Still trying to find that happy point where it's tightly rolled.. but not so tight that it's too loose inside my insulator and the wick slides around when I'm trying to wrap my coils.. More mesh, I assume

Yea, i think the size is 50x50 mm on the mesh size for a tightly rolled, no straw, with 500x500mesh?
