It's neat how just a very minor change changed up the whole thing. It really looks like the only difference in switches is the addition of the second spring, 2 more washers and making the little cup just a bit smaller so it moves freely now.
I get it now, it's basically a 2 stage trigger however the older switch to me had a more positive feel when it made contact. This new style is an easier push but sometimes it just doesn't feel like it's making good contact so I start pushing it in harder.
I am LOVING the sapphire 350 with a Nimbus on top. So small and so sweet looking...

No, I got a full Brevis at VC and already had the 510 connector. I really like the Z2 system, it's so cool to be able to mix and match all the parts.
I really wanted to get a limited edition Zen and thought the sapphires were it but now I'm not so sure.

the sapphires will not be reproduced. If they are available at all, they will only be the 18650 tubes.

I just saw that today too and have been thinking about a Link rda. However after blowing my wad at VC I need to curtail my vape purchases for a bit. Nothing but consumables until Christmas I keep telling myself.
Funny thing, I ordered cartos from ENS and a carto punch and some 18350s from Steam Monkey on Friday. The ENS package arrived yesterday and the SM package isn't due to be delivered until the 15th...
I've never done cartos until I got the Z2 CT at VC. I'm still sucking on the same carto it came with and now have a box of 10 that aren't pre-punched and my punch won't be here until the 15th. Grrr, I looked all over ENS and couldn't find the punch...that is until after I ordered the one from SM.

* I am getting used to the new switch and liking it a lot more. The only thing keeping me from loving it is I wish there was just a little bit more of a tactile feel when it made contact. The old switch, you know when you've got fire.

...and back to the old school switch setup as I just have no confidence in the new one. Half the time I'm pushing it it's not making contact so I end up pushing harder and it's not comfortable. 4 washers is too much, 3 washers works sometimes, 2 washers doesn't work at all. There's still the same amount of battery rattle so I'm just not seeing the benefit.
The old switch works really well so no worries. I still love my Zens

ummm i forget. they were buna number #15 or sumpin. I asked on electronicstix's fb page if they are going to get more. they do have them in a whole kit, but i don't see them separately. email them and ask the size i guess

A~ For both the standard and mini Zenesis, the tank o rings are 5/8" OD 1/2" ID x 1/16" and the cap o ring is 3/4" OD 5/8" ID x 1/16"

Question on the Sapphire Zencoat...
Just how strong is the coating supposed to be? I didn't really look that close to the unit when I purchased it and have been pretty carefull on what I set it down on. However looking at it about a week after purchase I'm seeing spots on the bottom button where the coating has either scratched off or perhaps were imperfections in the original coating.
Since I didn't examine it closer to begin with I can't say for sure whether it came that way or not.
I do know the coating on the tube itself still has no marks in it even after a drop or two. This makes me think the coating is pretty strong and maybe i just had a bad dye job?

Hi guys.

I had to deep clean my zen 2 atomizer, i unscrewd the center pin and dissasembly the atty, and i have a concern what about the spare parts that are not even listed (center pin and the top and bottom atty isulators for the new zenesis 2 Atomizers) im still waiting for some spare parts to be in stock:

Zenesis mini top cap o rings
tank o rings
colored o rings
bottom switch springs
bottom switch screws
bottom switch washers
cobalt tanks

i know they have rebuild kits but i like to have a bunch of cheap stuff like orings, so i can easly replace them every time i switch flavors and i dont minde buying them in bulk.

i have some Zen mods, my last one is a Cinis, i really love zen products and now im not sure to buy a new Brevis, this lack of spare parts are holding me.

Actually thinking to switch to different brand (sorry mike).

My question is, why im looking for stuff that should be available in one place ? with the clones is complete understable but why with a high end mod that has lifetime warranty ?

when i think in sell my zen stuff my stomach aches lol, i think i just need some love from ENS and some spare parts.

The sapphire will not be a regular for that very reason. that said, there is a natural uneven look to my switch. no spots though so you might
ask.
parts: are you sure you are looking I'm the right place for the springs, insulators, and screws? I was on the site a few days and saw them. no colored o rings right now though. parts like those wear with use so I don't expect that to be covered. you have to send. it back if something happens to the Atty spring.

Cobalt tanks will be a thing of the past soon as the spectrum Tanks are on order and should be here within a month in a nice variety of colors. If i were you i would submit a support ticket and ask chops if those items are in the warehouse. we just did a massive inventory check and he may have dug some up. we are working hard on a new website and point of sale and its consuming our souls at the moment but we want to make it a much more enjoyable experience while you are on our site. Also if on our site now go to the zenesis parts section and be sure to click through the pages, there are multiple pages of parts.

Hi all, another Zen newbie here!

I received my first Zen yesterday, a Zen 2 CT 490. Gosh these things look & feel good! It vapes beautifully too. Great taste and an a-ma-zing throat hit. I already love it to bits but - or even because of - it seems to have a bit of a character of its own. Not uncommon with Zens' I understand.

The heavy switch takes some getting used too. It fires all the time but doesn't seem to be 100% consistent in how good/strong it fires. There is some variation going there. A had a bit of bad luck that the switch assy as it fell apart after a few minutes of use. I guess I should have checked before vaping it. On the other hand, it's a brand new device right out of the box.
As I didn't took it apart I needed to figure out how it goes together but it's been working fine. There were 3 washers in mine. I took 1 washer out that increased the throw of the switch. So now I have 2 washers under the copper screw.

A have a few newbie questions. I hope you guys can help me out a bit.

- I've read about flattening/sanding down the top of the screw in the switch a bit to improve contact. Is this a good thing to do? The screw in mine is copper, not brass as the spare part pictured on the Electronicstix site. Is this a copper coating or copper all through?

- The knurled ring from the switch doesn't close tight against the 490 battery tube. There is a small 0.5mm gap between them. Is this normal?

- I have read that Zen's have a battery rattle by design to allow the battery to slide up & down in the tube. Mine doesn't have a rattle at all. When I screw the switch in it's completely solid. No rattles no nothing, it fires ok and the switch has a normal throw. Am I just lucky or could there be something wrong here?

hello fog. I have no idea if the new ct apvs have the new or old switch. . If that is the old switch, the brass screw is solid. make sure to engage the side of the tube with the switch. In otherwords, depress the switch from the side and not smack dab in the middle. I'd send a ticket to ENS if you don't get more answers. I've never heard of a copper screw. Could it be gold plated? If so, it is definetly not solid gold

If that is the new switch, with the delrin cup, you will need to use more washers.
