My coworker just got his hands on a ZAU. Anybody ever expirience a lot of voltage drop with it?

i think alot of people are getting rid of zaps and u atties because of lack of cleaning thinking that they are broke....it is sad really.
Wow just wow. Thanks for the reply. We took it apart and I cannot believe how bad it looked in there. Lotsa build up. I will post with the results when we get it back together and working. I didn't even think of this because I use a zag and its been hitting strong ever since I got it.

got a nice 5/4 28g kanthal wrap on this bad boy (little bit of juice in the tank so no glow on bottom coil), she rips like a dream.

My zenesis mini has an inconsistent vape when i hit it....coils light u nice and red or somtimes barley give of anything...any help would be appreciated.
hi all cracked my quartz tank on my zen standard searched on net cant find where to buy any suggestions? I also lost the top screw for one of my sidewinders where the wire gets tightend down anyone know where I can get one of these?
Does it use magnets or a spring in the switch? If it has magnets, you have to push the switch to the side when you fire.
Electronicstix.com. They sell tanks individually and I believe the rebuild kit contains a spare positive screw.

All switches are constructed the same (with the exception of aluminum pv's that use aluminum switch posts). The only difference is some use magnets, others use springs. Magnets were part of the original design but the way they worked was opposing polarities to keep the switch body and post from making constant contact. With magnets, the switch post had to make contact with the inner portion of the switch body to cause a ground and fire properly. Some people didn't like have to force the switch to the side so Zen begain installing current limiting springs to address the complaint.
