I just opened it to look at it. At first it was hard to hit then I got lots of vapor all of the sudden. It kind of worried me from what I've read so far. I opened it to check it out. Not tilted and no leaks. I guess I just got lucky? Will check back later when I can attempt to refill. Working great so far!

use RVT to hold it in place i use a pin hole and i have not flooded my atty. i tryed this frist on my most leaky atty. on a side note if the cig is not up right and the cart gets low you wont wick :(

That makes sense.
It's not too likely people look up to take a hit.
When I opened mine I could see the atty made it cone shaped.

Maybe if I flip it upside down with a shorter straw, since it is already cone shaped, It would be like an automatic drip?

Just a tip im going to throw out there if anyone is having a problum it might not be the cart you made take a look at your attys bridge.. I have had some pushed to the right, left, curved and not pointed... Look closely before putting your cart on the atty dose it look like the tip of the bridge is going to line of with the hole? if not you can lightly push on the atty to get it in the center..

[...] I'd like to find an easier way to make a small hole in the center as the hole works better for me. [...]

I don't know about the hole (small hole-punch?) but I have an idea for the X or + cuts:

If you can find the right size Phillips screwdriver, put the point on the silicone and tap it through by hitting the end with a small hammer or something. The hardness of the work surface would also be important...

Another fine example of logical thinking. And here I thought my days of cutting straws was over for good! Unlike the ADM this may take a little more tweaking--welcome to my world--to get the bugs out.

I won't have time to test it until tomorrow night, but what is the best way to cut a hole? When I want a tiny hole in plastic I use a heated paper clip but that won't work here. Maybe punching out a hole with a needle? With a little needle you could punch out a dotted pattern. A bigger needle? I've got plenty of little drill bits so that's probably the direct I'd go in for now.

Removing and refilling? Paper clip should would nicely to put in the hole and pop it out. Kind of like taking the cap off a cartomizer.

Good point about centered the atomizer wick.

Yeah, this is the kind of xxxxx right here that keeps me up at night. For a change I'll let you guys play with it a little longer before I jump into the fray.

P.S. Great another thread to keep track of!

I used a pen like madeyetony but all I have is some with plastic tips they still work but I only got 2 done before I destroying my pens tip, then I used the needle that came with my turkey flavor injector I cut the tip off and use it as a punch the needle unscrews from the injector works good..

You guys should just drill a bunch of 16th of an inch diameter holes in the plug to make it like a shower head. I'm sure all the plug is doing is acting like a slow leaking fauset.

Your making a hole in a plug that supposivly the atty bridge is touching and sucking juice threw.. when all its doing is either blocking the hole and theres a slight crack peeking threw for the jucie to drip.. too much of an opening exposed and its flooding the atty as its coming threw too fast.

You'd be better off trying to figure out how to get the bridge all the way into the plug so its making contact with the juice.. have it somewhat sealed around the bridge but still juice is gota get through somehow to the wick and down to the coil.

I'd try it but.. logic is telling me its a slow leak and dont waste your time.

The possitive from this mod is we now have a different material to use as a plug that can handle the high heat.. i've played with the cap with high voltage and it seems to handle the heat.

Actually i rolled up the sides of the cap into a spiral and shoved it into the cart with it resting on the inner lips and it worked as a plug with the opening in the middle of the spiral for the bridge to hold and the juice to flow. Worked ok.. though refilling was impossable without removing it.

No i just know enough to just look at a cart mod to understand how it would work.

Sorry.. as i always tell my wife. Ingorance is bliss and i wish i was. The more you learn about something the more you see how imperfect it is.

Hey, i wish there was one end all mod for the e-cig.. but i dont think there is atm and dont think there will be if the cart dont change. The only way its gona be perfect is if they put the cart below the atty and reverse the air flow. I guess ya gota build it yourslef.
