I switched out the stock top cap with a Fusion mods Hybrid Drop Kit and everything I've tried fits perfectly on it. To see how it looks check out my terrible pic in post #253 above.

Yea I was just going to buy one until I picked this one up. Looks good though, still might pick one up just to make it a mm or 2 shorter because I love me some short mods! Seriously though if you were on the fence about the 4nine I HIGHLY recommend it. Its shorter than a kayfun in 18490! The threads are seriously some of the nicest I've used, hybrid top cap and for 160 you get all 3 tube extensions which by the way is near seamless. My volt meter is broke new one otw but I can tell already the volt drop is extremely low. This little guy hits. I love love love my zna, but its not practical to say take out to the bars or whatever. Thats where this little guy (or girl because its actually my ladies female 4nine, mines in the mail still) comes in handy.

Just curious, why do you say the ZNA is not practical to take to the bars? I feel like the size makes it perfect for taking out and about. The other two mods I have are the Provari and the Protovapor and this thing is way smaller than both of them.

Again like I said gaps just don't bother me so i'm not sure i'll get the new cap. I have a Protovapor and the pin gets pushed down every time I put something on it so i'm constantly having to pull it out. I would much rather have the gap problem than the one I have with my Protovapor.

Wait. That's a Kayfun V2! I want one of those bad boys. Sold out just about everywhere in the States though. I realize it's the same as my 3.1 but still I dig the new design. Nice it is.

I know vapingreek (among others) said they disliked the gap below the cap more than between it and the atomizer, but I think this looks much better and honestly not bad at all. I'll likely grab the new adjustable one when it's available if the price is right but this works for me.

I don't remember where I read this (honestly it might have even been earlier on this thread) but i read they were going to be $12. Could be wrong but I read that somewhere.

I mean you could take the Z to the bar, Its just not the best choice IMO. Its's a great mod... my favorite one, don't get me wrong, but its heavy for how small it is and once you stick a kayfun on top not so short. If you have a ZNA in your pocket you know it. The 4nine is 49mm (as tall as a 18490 battery) in 18350 mode, In 18490 mode it is shorter than a kayfun es 3.1. They are just perfect for pocket-ability. Super light, super short...My kayfun nano kit is otw but my estimate is in 18350 with kayfun nano it will just be a tad bit taller then a ZNA without anything on top. It should be here sometimes next week. I'll post more pics. Youtube Todds Reviews 4nine though he'll show ya everything.

I kinda gave up trying to get one when I have money none around, then around when I have no money. So now I got a tattoo from my armpit down to my hip. Should be done this month, looks amazing, so thanks Zen. I will get my hands on one at some point, love the Zen stuff.

No but aluminum? Not sure I'd want that. Heck I've already dropped the heck outta my ZNA several times. All that happened was I dented the crap outta the floor. The ZNA is untouched. An aluminum one would have been damaged for sure. Ahh I guess it would be cheaper. And probably easier to manufacture.

Ok so it seems that ENS got a few of the Z 2.2 510 top caps. At $37.00. So when or will those of us who got the original ZNA get one at a "reasonable" price? Or was that just a rumor? Not complaining here. I love my ZNA. Just wondering.

It's not possible for this 510 to get pushed down.

I don't know if you were talking about the Z or the Protovapor but...Yes it is possible. In fact it happens with my ZNA with the new top and the old one (and I have 2 of each). It will push to far down and the plastic housing inches out a little bit on the bottom and won't make a connection. Its not a big deal you just have to take it off the Zna and push it back in on a table or something. As far as the Protovapor I don't own one but I guess that was a problem in the early production ones they they ended up fixing it though.

The ZNA is my favorite too! With that being said, if you have the funds and ever get a chance to pick up a Hana as well you won't regret it. They both have DNA 30 so they preform more or less exactly the same. Its just a different form factor. I never though I would like box mods but they are definitely nice. So light weight and sturdy feeling. Thats my biggest gripe with the Z is the weight. Thats why I can't wait for the ZNA lite though!

Here is his email he sent to COV where is purchased it from:
WHAT A. P.O.S. !!!!
Received the Z2.2 top today. This thing SUCKS big time ! Firstly, way expensive, especially to current ZEN ZNA users… should be at cost or something. Secondly, all this adjustment does is transfer the gap that was above the cap to below the cap ! Worthless !
I would like to return this ASAP for a full refund...

Doesn't sound to promising??
