Couldn't say. You'd have to ask Surf Monkey where he found it. He posted it here in the sub and I snagged it. I've always been a Patriot, even before it was 'cool' to be one. Combine that with a zombie saluting in front of a flag... Well it fits. I've been thinking of swapping for something else but someone else grabbed the Jelly Baby vape is the Awesome avatar... :D

Just to add a little life to the forum since I know I've been busy the last 3 weeks or so, I put this out there for discussion:
Has anyone used a Winchester model 1887 lever action shotgun or one of the modern reproductions that are safe for modern ammunition? I ask because there's the cool factor of having a lever action shotgun (Arnie used one in T2), plus I'm seeing a 2 at a time reload feature on a lot of the modern ones. Dropping 2 shells into an open action that can cycle and eject faster than most side by side or over under shotguns seems like a nice option in a post Zombie Day world. :D

Currently there's two reproductions on the market, the Norinco 87W imported by IAC, which features a 2-piece lever that locks into the receiver unlike the original. This can be 'fixed' with some minor welding. The metalwork is greatly improved on newer models as compared to the earlier imports. There is also a clone being manufactured by Chiappa of Italy, which is leaps and bounds better in terms of workmanship than the Norinco, but at roughly twice the price. Also, in order to perform the 'drop two' reload you describe it requires a fair bit of modification to the carrier, magazine follower and a couple other bits/pieces.

Man I can't belive I haven't found this forum earlier.!!!!

If I was in post Zombie world domination I would use very personal tools like:

A templer's sword , I would give myself divine power's to slash down zombies one head at a time and a all purpose all terrain vehicle would be a must. Probly a military Hum V dressed with steel armor to keep the flesh eaten swine out , flip down port holes to shot m 16 and 9mm rounds out.

Very common weapons I'm sure I will find a few laying around . I wild also have a top mounted flame thrower get get as many multiple klls as possible

Gun ads on craigslist get flagged quick. Last night I was on CL and a guy posted he needed quick money and put a 1960's nickel plated Colt 1911 on for $400. I emailed him, he sent a pic and by the time I responded, it was flagged off craigslist but the guy had it sold. What a deal to miss.

Got my 6yr old his first rifle the other week. Nice looking little 22 Cricket single shot. I bet he put 200 rounds through it in one weekend lol. The barrel was still warm after a 15 minute trip home. Let his zombie training begin!

I picked up one of those a couple months ago. got the scope and mount with it. Still in the box, never fired it. Gonna sell it here in the next couple of weeks.

I just missed a closeout sale at the gun shop. A Mosin Nagant 91/30, with ammo pouches, sling, oil can, cleaning kit and bayonet PLUS 400 rounds of ammo in a sardine can....$160.

The ammo deal is gone, but he can still order the gun with accessories for $119 OTD.

At the closeout price, it would almost be a throw away gun...shoot up the 400 rounds, sell off the gun when done.

I have a guy coming over this coming week to check out some coinage. My dad has been collecting coins since he was a boy and i told him to get it all appraised for insurance reasons.

Yesterday we went to the gun shop. They are having a huge blowout on bows because the season is about to start. I went and got 9 arrows refletched and while I was waiting I took a $1400 bow to the range to shoot. Huge difference between my old Bear bow and the new Bowtech. Same 70 pound draw, but the Bowtech was sinking the arrows 6-8" deeper, much quicker and quieter. So much for thinking 70 pounds is 70 pounds. If your interested, the wife said "No".

I did pick up a new T-handle release to replace the wrist release I normally use. I dont know if its the release or what but my groups shrunk from softball to baseball size at 30 yds. Still not where i want to be shooting, but I was pretty happy. I will be satisfied when I can get a golfball group at 30 yds. After shooting all day, I came home and was bragging to the wife and made her go outside to the backyard where I have an 18" square target set up. Only went to 20 yds (wanted it to look like Robin Hood shooting) and totally missed the target, turfing the shot and the tip sunk into an underground tree root. So much for showing off, but I did follow it up with a center bulls eye shot and quit.
