Well... Shotgun News did a full write up on the conversion to semi-auto that retained 'stock' appearance. I'd have to look through boxes to find out which annual digest has the start to finish project (with pictures) but I wouldn't call it 'easy'. Here's a link to someone who put it up online in a 3 part document (w/o pictures).

Semi-auto Suomi from scratch part I: the receiver: he's written about some easy projects lately: here's one that will be a real challenge. If you have the skill and patience, you can build an unusual semi-auto carbine for $200. - Free Online Library

Here's a link to a suomi that's had the machine work done to accept the AR15 trigger group if not the lower receiver to give you an idea on what's required.

The suomi is kind of expensive to convert compared to one's commercially available that have already been converted.

I'm kind of digging the PPS pistol even if it's in an oddball caliber...

I looked at the pictures and it looks like the sight isn't just broken, but it's missing a section that would make repair almost impossible. It might be worth a call to Liberty to find out how much it would cost to repair or replace the riser section. It's a shame the sight riser isn't a bolt on type. I guess if you were a handy fabricator, you could make a replacement riser, a spacer, and bolt it on through the two triangles. If it doesn't interfere with operations and withstands the shock load... You could end up with a half price bow! It's still out of my price range right now, I still have to pay last years taxes :(

Yeah I am still around, barely. Was a busy summer with buying the new house and getting everything settled, Mom in law came up for a 3 week visit and bow season started 12 days ago, I havent had a lot of extra time. Been trying to get off the smokes again. VChick sent me some attys and stuff, so hopefully it wont take too long and I will be back to vaping full time.

I have heard of bump firing your weapon using your belt loop, but never seen a stock that was designed to bump fire on its own. very cool.

They also make a belt fed upper for AR's that looks really neat. But you could buy almost 2 RPD's for the price lol. But if you disn't see the bump fire vid using this stock, you should check it out. They could fire how ever many rounds they wanted with ease and aim. If I had a shorty AR, I might check it out.

Finally got a pic of the new bow.
