Hello and welcome to another review by yours truly. It’s been a while since I have posted a review. After several years of reviewing vaping hardware, I decided to take a step back and stopped doing reviews for most of the companies that I worked with in the past. That being said, I am very pleased to be here to give my thoughts on the new Innokin EZ Leva kit that was sent to me by Innokin in order to provide you with a fair and honest review.
The EZ Leva is a very aesthetically pleasing device. When I first received it, I thought it was a pod mod device but quickly realized that it is a pod device attached to a base unit for charging. The pod has a 400mah battery and the base has a 2000mah battery for a total of 2400mah of available power without recharging the base unit. The pod attaches to the base to charge by a strong magnetic connection. The pod itself is a simple auto draw device with a single battery light indicator. The kit comes with two pods which is always a nice touch. It makes use of a haptic vibration which is a nice touch. The base unit has a more informative battery indicator but neither of the two has any type of display.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:
When I first received the Innokin EZ Leva, I knew nothing about it since it wasn’t released yet and no information was available online. Initially I thought it was a one piece pod mod. To my surprise, it is a 400mah pod device magnetically attached to a 2000mah base unit that gives a total power capability of 2400mah. It can be used as just a pod and use the base for recharging or as a single unit to take advantage of the 2400mah capacity with no waiting for recharging.
The packaging for the EZ Leva is clean and simple. The box is white with a nice color picture of the Champagne version of the Leva that I received for this review. The Innokin and EZ Leva names appear in black font with a badge near the bottom that states it has easy operation for beginners. The back of the box has a warning statement, contents list, and company information for Innokin.
Once opened, The Leva is found sitting in a white foam insert and the second spare pod and charging cable are in a box on the side. The base unit obviously can be used to charge the pod device but also can be used as a power bank to charge other devices.
The charging base has a leather wrap on the back side and the Innokin name is stamped into it on one side. There is a hole on the same side that allows the charge indicator on the pod unit to be seen when attached for charging. The light flashes while charging and goes out when fully charged. Also the pod device vibrates when inserted into the base and also when the pod cartridge is removed or inserted. The opposite side is smooth with only a small icon stamped into the metal frame in the lower corner. The top of the base unit has a charge level indicator and the bottom has the USB C charging port.
The pod portion has the EZ Leva name etched on one side along with the battery level indicator. The indicator is lit white until the battery hits 10% and then turns red. It’s not a lot of warning but still lasts quite a while since the 1.2 ohm pod only pulls 12 watts and the 1.6 ohm pod pulls 9 watts. That in turn really seems to make the 400mah battery last what seems like a long time. The side of the pod device has the charging port on one side and the three pin connection to mate with the base on the other side. There are small airflow holes on each side that provide what I would call a somewhat loose MTL style of vape which happens to be my preferred style of MTL. When first received, there is a sticker over the contacts on the pod device so it isn’t charging during shipping. The mating contacts on the base can be seen in the third picture surrounded by a rubber insert. The top of the pod device has the two spring loaded gold plated contacts that make connection with the pod. The airflow sensor can be seen also in the fourth picture. The Leva is an auto draw only device with no screen or buttons on this unit. It’s actually kind of nice to have something that doesn’t need to be fiddled with. Being happy with the airflow provided, I don’t even miss the lack of an airflow control on this unit.
The Leva kit comes with two pods. There is a 1.2 ohm pod and a 1.6 ohm pod. As I mentioned a little while ago, they only draw 12 and 9 watts respectively. The pods have the EZ Leva name on one side along with the rated resistance of that pod. They are slightly tinted but I can still see the liquid level fairly easily. They have the usual rubber fill plug which seems to be of good quality and should last a good amount of time. There is an arrow on the plug indicating which direction to pull the plug. Underneath the plug is a rubber seal that helps to keep from spilling in case of overfilling. It actually does a pretty good job. I’m not usually a fan of these types of filling seals but this one works. I was able to easily fill the pods without making a mess. It is mentioned in the user manual that you aren’t supposed to let the pods go below 1/3 fill level prior to refilling. Innokin was nice enough to include a spare box of each pod for my review. Each box includes three pods in foil packs.

Hello and welcome back for today's review that's a bit more than your regular pod styled device. The EZ Leva Kit from Innokin is a pod device but it also comes with a charging station that magnetically charges the pod device and can charge other devices that use a USB-C connection with the provided USB-C to USB-C charge cable. The pod device fits into the charging station making it look like they are one device, you can use the device by itself to make it even more compact than the two connected together. There are no buttons for wattage as wattage adjustments are done automatically, airflow has no adjustments either but I find it very satisfying. This is MTL only!
