I've been an ECF member since 2012, but this is the first time I've posted in, like, a decade. Because I had everything sorted out and groovy.
Vermillion River Minnesota Menthol juice, and an Aegis with a big tank, it's all I've needed every day.

That Minnesota Menthol is the only thing I vape. I feel like I've put the Vermillion River owners' kids through college at this point.
For a while I tried to find local alternatives; had a vape shop dude trying and failing to replicate it. So I keep ordering online.

Today, I log in there and it says:

Design
The Argus G2 Mini has a sleek and modern design. Voopoo has done a great job with the ergonomic feel – it's compact and fits comfortably in the hand. The device is constructed from aluminum alloy and PC, giving it a sturdy feel without being too heavy. The gradient finish, as seen in the image, adds a stylish touch to the overall look.
The device is simple and minimalist, with no screen or buttons to worry about. This makes it incredibly easy to use, especially for beginners. The Argus logo is prominently displayed on the body, giving it a polished look.




Pods
I’ve talked a lot about these pods before, all positive, to be honest. I love these new 3mL pods with the top fill rubber plug and I really love both the 0.7 and 0.4 ohm resistance in these pods. These pods are leak resistant and filling the pod is convenient and easy. Unfortunately there is only one pod included, but it seems to be something more brands seem to be doing and something some customers prefer. I would personally always prefer a buy with at least two pods.
Changing the pod is straightforward – just pull out the old pod and snap in the new one. The pod is transparent, making it easy to see how much e-liquid is left, a small but practical detail.




Performance
In terms of performance, the Argus G2 Mini is impressive for its size. The 0.7-ohm coil provides excellent flavor and satisfactory vapor production, making it a great option for both new vapers and seasoned users looking for a portable device.
The draw-activated mechanism is highly responsive, delivering a smooth and consistent hit each time you vape. There’s no lag, and the automatic draw is neither too tight nor too loose, making sure to satisfy a variety of preferences.
The adjustable airflow feature allows you to change your vaping experience to your liking. Whether you prefer a tighter, more restricted draw or a more airy one, the Argus G2 Mini accommodates your needs easily.

This seems to be one of the simplest devices on the market, for any who just wants to quit smoking cigarettes and make an easy transition to vaping.
I also put the fact that the package doesn’t include a usb-C cable as a pro, because at this time and age I think most people have a lot of those lying around. It saves on the costs of the product and it’s something that 90% of the people that buy the device will probably instantly throw away, so props to Voopoo for thinking of that.
Overall, Voopoo has delivered a solid product with the Argus G2 Mini that is definitely worth considering if you're in the market for a new pod vape.

Hello and welcome back friends for today's review of the full size mod kit called the Armour Max from Vaporesso. The Armour Max mod is a dual 21700 device and comes with 2 18650 battery adapters. Hello and welcome to yet another review. Today I will be talking about the Voopoo Argus G2 Mini pod that was sent to me by Voopoo in order to provide you with a fair and honest review. The Mini has an internal 1200mah battery with an output range of 5-30 watts and has a charging rate of 5V/1A. This one is more simplistic than the previous G2 and does not have a display screen or a button and is auto draw only. Included in the kit is a single .7 ohm 3ml pod that is “top fill”. This pod is the same as the ones that came with the original G2 but as I mentioned, the kit only comes with one pod instead of two. I’m not a fan of single pod cartridges coming with a kit instead of two cartridges. The mini does have airflow control which is a plus.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The Argus G2 mini comes in a very basic box that has a nice color picture on the front. The box opens from the end and inside is the Mini packaged in a sealed foil pouch just like I have seen many disposable devices packaged in. It seemed a little odd to me. Also included is the single .7 ohm pod and user manual. Also included is an advisory card that Voopoo chose to include to give the user some basic guidance on how to use the device. The Mini is a simplistic kit designed to go after those that are looking to make the switch from disposables to a rechargeable and refillable device. The expected low cost of a single cartridge pod device should make the switch very affordable.

The G2 Mini has a very nice aesthetic appearance. I really like how they have done the silver to black fade on the sample that I received. The front of the Mini has the Argus name etched on to the body and was difficult to photograph with the name showing due to how it is etched on the body it shows up better in some lighting rather than other. Near the bottom is a single LED light that is white until the battery goes below 15% and then it turns red letting the user know that it’s time to charge the device. It should take a little over one hour to fully charge it from completely discharged. A lot of pod devices claim to be MTL to RDL but often fall short. The Mini did allow me to go from a tight MTL to a slightly restricted RDL. I was very happy with the airflow control on this one. The airflow control on this one is a little different as you can see in the second and third pictures below. The airflow is fully open when slid to the right and normally would be closed when slid to the left but Voopoo put a single small hole that can be seen when slid to the left which leaves a single small airflow hole that gives a nice tight MTL performance.

The charging port for the mini is located on the bottom of the device. Also there is color LED where the white area is around the USB port. This LED can be turned off/on by taking three puffs in two seconds. I didn’t realize this at first as sometimes the LED was on and sometimes off. When I use a pod, I tend to take 2-3 short puffs instead of taking one long puff so I was unknowingly turning the LED on/off.

The pod opening on the Mini is pretty much what you would expect to see if you’ve used auto draw pods before. There are two magnets that hold the pod in place securely along with two spring loaded electrical contacts and an airflow sensor. The .7 ohm pod comes pre-installed with a clear plastic cover over the pod to prevent accidental firing before filling the pod.

The new 3ml top fill pod cartridges claim to last for 90ml of liquid usage. The top fill cartridges are compatible with several Voopoo devices including the ARGUS G, ARGUS P1, ARGUS P1s, ARGUS Z, ARGUS POD SE, and ARGUS POD. Voopoo is calling the new cartridges the Argus Top Fill Cartridge. To me they aren’t really a true top fill. The fill port plug is still on the side but it is positioned higher so that you can actually fill the pods without removing them from the device. The resistance of each pod is stamped on the rubber fill plug. Voopoo claims that these new pods are good for 90ml of use but I would guess that it would depend some on the type of liquid used.

The pod has two strong magnets on the bottom that hold the pod securely in place. There are two holes opposite of each other so that the pod aligns with the airflow sensor despite which way it is inserted into the device. These are the same pods that I covered in the Argus G2 and P2 review recently. I do like how they are ever so slightly tinted to allow the user to easily view the liquid level in them.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

The Argus G2 Mini is a simplistic auto draw only device without a fire button. It is designed for either beginners looking to make the switch from smoking to vaping or those looking to make the switch from disposables to a much more economic refillable system. If the long pod life claimed proves true then the Mini definitely would be way more cost effective than buying disposables.

I don’t particularly like it when a pod kit only comes with one pod for obvious reasons but I do understand why they have chosen to do this to keep the initial cost down on the kit. I felt like the 1200mah lasted for a very long time before the battery indicator light made the switch from white to red at the 15% remaining battery level. Once it became red then it didn’t seem long until the light flashed and had to be recharged before using again. I personally would have preferred a little more warning on the battery life at perhaps 30% instead of 15% to give me a little more warning before it was completely depleted. I really didn’t notice any difference in puff strength after it hit the 15% level.

The .7 ohm pod seems to be a really good fit for the Mini. I got what I felt was a very long battery life and I experienced no leaking and no noticeable condensation. I was however expecting this type of performance after having previously tested this series of pods. Although the kit only comes with one pod, Voopoo was nice enough to include a .4 ohm pod. I was very pleased with the flavor and vapor production on this pod. It of course will go through the 1200mah battery a bit quicker but the performance is worth the trade off. I am not a huge fan of LED lights so could honestly care less about the LED light on the bottom of the Mini but am sure some will like it. I did like the change on the airflow adjustment design with the extra small hole being exposed when the slide is closed to give a really nice tight MTL type of airflow. Kudos to Voopoo on that design. I was also able to get a pretty decent RDL with the Mini and was happy about that. I think the Mini could be a good fit for both new and experienced users. I personally liked the simplicity of it. No screen or button function to worry about. Just pick it up and vape.

Argus G2 Mini is the simplified version of Argus G2 and comes with the classic slim and slim "stick" form factor. The user can recharge the internal battery via the USB-C socket and monitor operation during use simply via an LED light. The first tactile impression highlights how this object is rather heavy in relation to what one would normally expect from other similar basic devices. The zinc alloy frame is sturdy and smooth to the touch, the Argus G2 Mini slides through your fingers with ease. Furthermore, as we will see later in the review, this kit adopts a new 3ml Top Fill cartridge which is compatible with all the latest devices in the Argus line launched previously.

For this test I received the Argus G2 MINI in the color "Sunset Orange". The paint appears robust, and is elegantly faded upwards. On the side, as you can see, there are no buttons, decorations, lights, or air flow control systems. The side profile of this Mod is really smooth, but also well connected for maximum ergonomics.

The MUR range is the child of the Vaplo brand, an Italian company producing electronic cigarette liquids and flavourings. Sugarmama is none other than the soft and silky taste of ricotta cream blended with white chocolate. Real Italian flavours and aromas have been packed into a 60ml bottle that will hopefully be all about quality and a pleasant vapour.
The aroma has notes of fresh milk or whey, not too strong but noticeable when mixed with white chocolate. I would compare it to a pleasant, sort of dessert or creamy scent.
The ricotta flavour is mild and creamy, combined with white chocolate to create a delicate and creamy dessert experience, bringing out the soft and sweet flavours of both ingredients. The white chocolate has a sweet and creamy character that defines the base of the flavour, the ricotta contributes a slight creamy or cottage cheese icing that adds an interesting contrast and depth to the overall picture. This combination for me created a delicate flavour that balances the white chocolate notes with the ricotta character.
Summary: the mild, creamy flavour of the ricotta and the buttery character of the white chocolate complement each other perfectly. This combination is creamy and sweet at the same time, without being too heavy or too rich. Because the ricotta has a mild flavour, the sweetness of the white chocolate is accentuated but not overpowered, making it appealing to those who prefer dessert-inspired flavours.

Packaging in the usual bag, 30ml bottle with 3ml aroma, 2pcs 10ml nic salt and a 10ml base juice. You mix it up, shake it and then you have the finished product. That's it in a nutshell, but everything is described and illustrated with pictures of what and how.
The product description has some very interesting ingredients, "vanilla sponge cake, delicious graham crackers, eggs (yes, you read that right), cookies and vanilla ice cream and a secret ingredient" which the manufacturer says makes the flavours unique. What was most concerning to me was the egg and the secret ingredient. This secret ingredient has been mentioned in other manufacturer's products, which in my experience, has not always come out well.
After blending, the scent is a very pleasant blend of cookie and sponge cake flavors, perfectly as described. There is also a slight citrusy note, which is not distracting and gives the product a special "spiciness", so to speak.
The basic flavour is an eight-egg sponge cake, which is strong and distinct with a pleasant, slightly interesting flavour. Think of a natural sponge cake with no eggs spared. On exhale, the vanilla also appears, sweet and creamy, but not as an ice cream to my taste, more like a creamy paste spread between the cake. I couldn't decipher the secret ingredient during the test, which is probably why it's a secret, sometimes a citrusy flavour comes out, but it's not obvious. There's definitely something about it that's not usual in a cake like this. It's interesting and also great, as it makes the sponge cake a little bit fudgy, which makes it stand out in the taste test. I left the graham crackers at the end, as they don't make a big dusting of flavour, but they do show up sometimes and then disappear for a while.
So, if you're looking to fluff a nice yellow, egg-filled sponge with a little extra, definitely give it a try, you can get rare and delicious steams using it. A big thank you to the manufacturing team for sending me the product to test, they have included some delicious and interesting flavours in their product.
