The Argus 1.2 ohm pod/coil combination demonstrated remarkably good performance at extremely low power, belonging to the “ adjust to taste “ style, and the “ gently bed the coil in” school, i by accident found that the 1.2 provides very acceptable vapor and flavor at 5 watts, I thought this might be an anomaly of the unit I was using { the Argus pod) with a screen and adjustable power, so I switched to a Argus G (identical features) with identical results. Running at extra low power, the battery life was excellent, and the lifespan of the coil appeared to be excellent, as the coil was used ( 2000 puffs) I had to sneak the power up, now with over 2200, the power is running at 7 watts, plus when I experiment with higher power (10 watts the recommended watts by the manufacturer and programmed into the Gene chip Ai recommendation) the vapor production changes little in volume and saturation, other than a slight change in heat, indicating to me that the “sweet spot” is actually this remarkable low power level, so far, I am auditioning different salt nics , and have 3 pods in service , all are behaving identically. Note; I have been vaping over 11 years and have used every type of equipment, this is my first experience with the above one ohm mesh coil world, wha I would like to know if this particular behavior is common in the 1.2 ohm mesh coil world, and po other manufacturers even do better, but thi has me thinking about working on a open system that uses this similar technology, ( my typical set up is a 18650 mod with tank) the only reason I have investigated pods is because stealth vaping is easier and the technology finally matured enough to interest me. And comments, observations, and advice is appreciated and welcomed.
