My primary care said it was for the autoiinjectable pens, and I could get them through Good RX or she would write me a script. Perry does the injection, and it is nothing. His insurance pays 100% of his. I suppose if my doctor got in touch with my insurance, it might also be covered. It is $1395 at Sam's Pharmacy if he did not have insurance. Sheesh! That's crazy.
Unless it has changed since I took the compounded one, this is my experience:
1. Even though my Dr. wrote a prescription, ins wouldn't cover it unless I was diabetic.
2. I took the compounded one for 6 months and it did absolutely nothing, even though I continued on a low carb diet where I had already lost 50 pounds. I think it actually worked in reverse for me. I saw no advantage at all, unfortunately.
3. I may be wrong but I think Good RX only covers the compounded one.

I hope the price comes down for the real stuff but I haven't heard about that happening. I know diet matters, I have a friend who has been on Noom for about a year without too much success. She is vegan and I think that makes a difference.

Please let me know if you have new information.

Vape gear spots

Hey, all!

I've been out of the scene for a while now, and the Internet has changed a LOT since I was last active on here.

Where are the best places to lurk to find out new vape gear being released and things? Particularly high-end gear.

Facebook groups? Reddit? I'm lost.

I'm not sure the particular rules for posting links to this kind of thing, so feel free to DM me if you know of any groups or things that fit this area. I'd really appreciate it.

Happy vaping, y'all!
We don't have much about new high end on the forum, if anything is posted it is mostly always in the shiny's thread.

I would recommend "the shed" (private group) on Facebook which is Mark Todd's group, perhaps better known as Todd's Review.

It sure has worked for my friend. He has lost 60 lbs since May. I have been threatening to go on it because you can get it for $500 a month. It is being discussed for the government to bring it down to $149 a month. I am just so mad that I let myself gain some of my weight back, and I need to get it off because of my joints.

I finally broke down and made an appt. with the ortho. I have not been able to walk or exercise like I used to, and it has definitely affected my weight. Perry has taken me to 60 different restaurants since I started seeing him, and I started back cooking. That's some of the problems. View attachment 1033915
Is $500 for the compounded stuff?

What's under your lip/in your nose right now? - Part 2

Just to see what would happen, I put in two 9mg pouches at work today. One on each side on the top. I really didn’t feel any difference.

Considering I'm using 12s on up (Odens alone is 17.6 per pouch), two nines might prevent massive mayhem on my part.

One thing I've noticed...... The General Mint just ain't cuttin' it any longer. Love the flavor, but man..... I was popping pouches like crazy today. **sigh**

Good evening People...........

That's a way cool photo. I like checking out Hubble and Webb photos too.

The observable universe contains as many as an estimated 2 trillion galaxies. And more stars (and, potentially, Earth-like planets) than all the grains of beach sand on planet Earth.

I usually chuckle (silently, LOL) at those who have the arrogance to think we're the most advanced, and only intelligent, species in the Universe. We can't even take care of our own planet! <sigh>
Are we alone? The internet is awash with videos of scientists expounding on the Fermi Paradox. Some of them are fun and interesting. The more honest ones tend to start by mentioning that we have zero evidence to work with, BUT, here's what I think.

Well, the daily astronomy picture from Hubble, Webb, etc, disappeared in sept, now it's come back online. The message they posted wasn't clear whether it went away because of the shutdown or the huge cuts to NASA, guess it was just the shutdown. I clicked on it from time to time hoping for the best and a few days back it reappeared. And I have couple of month's worth to go through.

I picked up my grizzly pouches from northerner on the way home. I opened the orange one when I got home. The flavor isn’t super strong but it’s a decent orange. I’m about 30 minutes in and the flavor is still good. Just to see what would happen, I put in two 9mg pouches at work today. One on each side on the top. I really didn’t feel any difference.
