Good afternoon,

Dale, thanks, yes all is well here. Hope the same is true for you.

Hey Joey!

Hi Sara, I mean, ya know, Folger's, works perfectly fine for some. LOL, I've been known to have some. Had relatives that liked it. They made it really weak, like three small level scoops for 12 cups kinda weak. It tasted like flavored water.

Ret1, we won't need our AC until next Summer.
EWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

Yep.

A long time back, our VA Hospital used to have a coffee vending machine the size of a Coke machine. The coffee from it was, who knows how old, tasted nasty, but when in need, ummm yeah.

If there's no Keurig available, I'll bring my crack in a can.

Good morning/afternoon Dale, Retired and lurkers :)

Snow is gone and we are currently in the middle of a nasty thunderstorm. Gotta love WNY weather.

SMT, even though I despise the snow, I wouldn't mind trying snow shoeing. Love the coffee brewing wisdom, even though Folger's is in the fridge this week.

Feeling any better, Dale? Glad you had a nice time with dinner and games.
Much much better Sara, thank you :)
Hopefully we’ll get some rain next week sometime.

That’s quite a coffee choice retired!

Another Folgers user here, I guess the only coffee I won’t drink is Maxwell house.

Oh that stuff is GOOOOOOOOOOOOD! And different flavors, too! I used to go through a case easily in a week. Had to cut back on that. Not so much for the calories, but that stuff was keeping me up during the day when I desperately needed to sleep.

Umm yeah you can over do on just about anything. ;)
I used to use French vanilla creamer at night but had to quit it because I used too much and weight gain was becoming a problem. Little things can really catch up with us if we’re not careful.

Mornin' all. Looks like 4 days of heat ahead, and then a nice cool down. A few things on the agenda today while it's still warm out, one of which is doing some much needed maintenance on the car. I've had an in cabin air filter floating around the back of the car for months now. Replacing it is a pain, and I've been putting it off long enough.

Also need to replace the air freshener inserts. They're pricey, but they work very well and last for quite a while. I keep 3 in the car, 2 under the front seats and one in the back of the car. It's not over powering, and the scent is pleasant.

I bought those inserts for a while but they got too pricey for me, they are nice though.

Yeah, they are that. But I would rather pay a premium for something that actually lasts. Those grocery store clip ons you attach to the vents are usually spent after a week or two. Not to mention, they're ugly as sin.

I know a lot of folks that keep a bottle of Febreze in their car. I have something better and I use it for work, too.

I have a bottle of this stuff in the garage, house, car, etc. I originally bought it for my vest (they get rather odoriferous after a full shift in 90-100 degree heat). Stuff worked so well on the vests I wondered if it worked in the car. Yup! Stuff works awesomely and kills the odor just as well (if not better) than Febreze.

Hopefully it'll be a quick week. Was informed last Friday that the building will be empty by 4pm on Friday (Thanksgiving break starts next week). Which means I have to be at the school by 8:30 rather than Noon. No way I'm going to sit in an empty school for 4 hours. LOL

    Good morning retired. :)
Don’t blame you one bit, lots of other things you can do in 4 hours. Thanksgiving will be here before we know it!

I finally convinced my husband we should have a small generator
I bought one when I got the freezer and put so much meat in it. I would hate to lose that in the summer. I guess it will stay cool enough if it is cold. I don't know yet how to use it, but Perry has one and he'll help me.

Had to go to a Doc in a Box this weekend. I absolutely hate UTIs. Hope I will be feeling better soon. I also broke down and made a doctor's appointment about my knee and hip. I hope I like this Ortho. My ex-brother-in-law recommended him.

Perry's friend slaughtered his pig, so we had to go pick up sausage. We did not get any this time, but Perry's took orders for his friends. Nice of him. They don't realize how far he drives and how much time it takes to deliver it all. He definitely is a nice man.

We will get some next month. We get the hot and it is the best I have eaten. I keep crumbled sausage in the freezer because I love to add it to my pizzas. Not bad in omelets either.
