I don’t get why the mint can’t be sold online but the other general flavors can.

It's most likely a $$$ thing. Remember, Phillip Morris now owns Swedish Match. Some bean counter most likely thought they could make more money by freezing it out of their traditional markets and selling it only in the US.

By only selling it in convenience stores, I don't see how it's remaining profitable, especially as you can't find it everywhere.
