There's really nothing advanced that chip should have other than knowing what time it is now.
There are lots chinese crap with big screens displaying current time - they're just all damn lazy/hesitant to go one little step further and write couple of lines of code to do simple logic as, again:
- Set a Hard Cap: Stop firing after X puffs.
- Auto-Reset: Automatically reset the counter/limit after a set time (e.g., every 2 hours or every 24 hours).
- Schedule Usage: Allow more puffs during certain times of the day (e.g., evenings) and fewer/zero puffs during others (e.g., work hours).
I found one recently released "cutting-edge"
device from SMOK that allows you to long-press main button and set how many puffs you want to do in current session until it cuts you off - that's at least something!
In same line-up they have almost identical device that does not have puff limit but knows the current time/date - it knows when it's new day to show you how many puffs you did yesterday.
Like COMMON folks isn't it obvious you just need to combine TIME and PUFF LIMIT capabilities and + stop this puff counting nonsense and make a tiny step forward to finally make a meaningful impact fo r those who care? It's almost like developers actually implementing stuff like this for years but when it comes to upper management they are li
