Random DIY mixing and More

Good afternoon random folks. I got a bit of a lull before I have to start cooking. I did manage to get the last set of curtains up. They were a bit of a bugger to put up but the end result looks good. I pretty much am now finished on the inside of the house. There's been a delay in getting the skirting installed, but I'm hoping it gets done by next week.
Good afternoon, Terri.:) We'll need some inside pics when you're done.

Is the weather cooperating? I hope so.

Is that the "stretch and fold" method?
You mix it up and let it rise at room temperature for eighteen hours and then fold the four edges to the center and let it rise for another two hours at room temperature. Alternatively, you can toss it in the fridge after the first rise and let it cold ferment for three days, fold it up, and then leave it at room temperature for a few hours. Cold fermenting improves the flavor, but I'm a lazybones, so I don't bother with it anymore.

Anyone Still Dripping?

I'm in my 70s, started learning to wrap with help from my daughter and a Daedalus jig. She got me into the hobby by comparing making a coil to making a friendship bracelet for your lungs. I can't do anything super intricate but a simple fused Clapton is pretty much "set and forget" and I can get great taste off of them so I never really bother with staggers or staples anymore.

Hi~

Hi there~
I'm new here and very glad to see everyone.
I've been vaping for about 3 years and Geek Bar is my favorite brand. Often I hit the disposable and sometimes I try the refilled.
Also I use HNB products which is related to IQOS&TEREA.
Wish a colorful trip with you guys~
I suspect you mean geekvape as iirc geekvape does geekbars. I like geekvape to though Im not nearly wealthy enough to do disposables. I understand few who do them are, they just dont know different. HNB is that stuff they could at forst only sell in japan because the japanese dod what they were told right? iqos is the same company that does marlboro. Paper tobacco soaked in stuff and dried the heated. A cheaper way to make cigarettes.

Anyone Still Dripping?

Heh. 2008 for me.
I started vaping in the stone age - 2010. I've tried just about everything since then. I bought wire, cotton, a wrapping jig and you name it. I've lost track of how many mods, tanks, etc. I have.

I got tired of all the gear hassle. I got past the hobby phase of things. I've settled on a couple of Geekvape devices and tanks. I make my own juice. I buy manufactured coils that last a week or more. I have no interest in dripping again.

I lost a mod and feel nauseous.

So there was this big sale on wetvapes and i bought a lot of stuff and spent a lot of money even though i shouldn't have. Then i spent more to make what i had work. And in one day everything is effectively gone.

More than half the money went to a full price m100 mod in rainbow so I could have a device that made the green zeus i got on discount look good. And its gone. It vanished in a friend’s car. I also learned that 2 of the mods i bought were mechs, and another 4 were squonkers without any temp control at all. So a lifetime supply, but not a particularly good lifetime supply.

The same day a gasket decided to give it up on a crown1 i bought here used for about a quarter of the money spent.

Most of the stuff i got on discount was stuff i got for other people, and the future So i got effectively nothing for me even though i spent nearly $100 which for me is a whole lot.

Just had to whinge a bit. (Which i understand is like whining but even more annoying)

Best vendor for pure nicotine salt(!) liquid inside EU

So in my country (Romania) nicsalts are really expensive like €5/10ml 20mg bottle.

I'm searching for much cheaper alternatives inside EU, like 100-500 ml at 100-250mg/ml ratio.

Please let me know if you know any stores!

Edit: so far the best I found is 100ml/mg, 500ml bottle, €94 with shipping

Edit 2: sorry, I actually need freebase nicotine as it hits harder to throat

Anyone Still Dripping?

There’s been a very rapid evolution of vaping since I joined in 2013! I went from refilling tanks, to dripping for a few years, then back to tanks. It’s been increasingly difficult to get replacement hardware, so I’m going back to building coils and dripping. Does anyone still do this? I don’t want to depend on disposable vapes.

The top row in the photo are obsolete tanks I have, because the replacement coils aren’t made anymore. ‍ The bottom row are my 3 old Paradigm Magma rebuildable drippers, simple 2 post/single coil builds. One is a clone, the other 2 are authentic. I did a build tonight for the first time in years, and I had forgotten how much flavor I was losing with a tank.
Dripping in many instances got replaced by squonking. Its a lot like dripping with an RDA that holds 9 ml. The advantage of squonking is being able to use an RDA which holds more, produces more vapor, and easier to wick than an RTA. People that have non-squonking mods can do it with temp control or experience though. Some still do im sure. Squonk mods are large.

Dovpo issues

I purchased two Dovpo Mods. The Riva and the Themis. Neither functioned properly upon arrival. I wrote to dovpo more times than I can count
I messaged as well. I never received a response. Does anyone have a suggestion how i can solve this issue?
i wrote to Dovpo at the following email address ;

thank you
Tried calling them? The internet is your friend. The cigarette industry finally killed th CASA apparently, and dovepo is arguably “competition” so they may be in the process of exploding as well.

The cigarette industry’s official unofficial slogan is “we’re a nicotine delivery service” which I've always felt pretty self-serving. I think the real one is “we don’t care who or what gets destroyed or what long term damage we cause. If it gets in the way of maximizing profit we kill it by any means necessary. Sociopaths FTW”
