V1 had better battery control... It wouldn't start giving "floppy" puffs until around 20%, while the v2 starts at around 40%. I think the v2 pulse fire is responsible for that, but yes I've also noticed puffs from v2 have a slightly sharper edge/more turbulence to them.

That was my first thought, but after seeing the OPs location, quickly discarded it.

Invaugly remember something about “pirate radio” so there might be something offshore, but Yeah. I don’t think there is a Rez there either. They’re generally put on junk land. Good chance there’s a choice of consolates though. Also, it’s a major port.

I own both versions (Luxe XR Max 1 and Luxe XR Max 2) and I’ve noticed that the V1 has a more open and satisfying airflow overall. I was curious to know if you noticed the same thing or if it’s just my impression.

The sliding switch at the bottom locks the screen and fire button. The huge slider at the side is for the airflow. Never seen such big airflow holes on other pod-mods.

Seems firing switches are the first to go. I had an Aspire Speeder and it finally quit after 8yrs and it was the firing switch that killed it. Most of the paint was gone by then too. Can't remember now what I had before that but it was the firing switch that killed it.

Loctite Red. Once you put those screws back in with that stuff, those screws are NOT coming back out.

Edited to add - Just a little bit will suffice. Take a toothpick and lightly coat the threads on the screw. Don't goop it all on there thinking more is better.

They've started to scale back the predicted accumulation totals, which is a good thing. Still worried about the ice, as even a thin accumulation plays havoc with the power. The power here will flick off at the barest hint of severe weather. It's asinine, as the power across the street will still be on. Don't know what it is about our block, but it gets old really quick.
