Part 1 (too long) I've been reading the thread about VAMOs and their sometimes low ohm readings - problems/fixes - and saw your question: "Ok, Why are all of you using a 510 EGO adapter?" (in part)
My problem was using Kanger EVODs on top of my new VAMO V2 ($21.50 through a Fast Tech post) 2 wks ago (?)... My EVODs, once attached straight away to the VAMO, worked great (at first) then when removing one, I dumped a tank of juice in my lap - opps - the EVOD had come apart when I tried removing it from the VAMO... so I bought an adapter and now I can grab the EVOD by the base of it to unscrew it from the VAMO... just some info for you to keep in mind - if/when you get a VAMO and try different tanks on it (grin). My evods were also 'cheap' ones and wobbled more than I liked, so I had snugged them down until they didn't wobble - thus pushing one or the other of the pins down too far (on the EVOD or on the VAMO) [continued...]
