Hi. I'm a pretty new vaper. Got a new flavor yesterday (black currant watermelon) that tastes so good I vaped myself into vapers tongue.

Weird part is now every flavor I have taste like menthol. None of my juices are iced or menthol.
Has this ever happened to anyone here?

This might be a known and already answered questions, however I couldn't find an answer for what I'm searching for. Also, tried some searches on the ECF's too but stumbled mostly only on periods where coils lasts here and there.

As I have read that the flavor on own built coils may run up to weeks or even month, some even for 3 month and more, but how does it actually work ?

I'm curious how the coils effect the flavor on the longer run. Even though we cleaned them and changed the wicks.

Or does the wire built coils degrade themselves while vaping like metal being dissolved which then changed it formula or something ? Or is it just a myth and maybe getting vaping tongue which then concludes the coils doesn't produce flavor production ?

Would anyone happen to know if the
Vaporesso GTX Replacement Pod 26 pods will fit, and stay in the PX80 mod? I'm having a hard time finding any of the regular PX80 pods online

I am trying to recreate a Rawr flavor that was pear green tea. I am ordering through EC Blend which I can order my own flavor mixture. I remember it was a refreshing flavor--not very sweet with a light pear flavor. I'm trying to figure out the percentage of each--I'm thinking 50/50 would not be it.

Any suggestions? Also, would anyone know if I am supposed to add sweetener or are the individual flavors already sweetened?

This time, politicians want to give the FDA jurisdiction to regulate synthetic (non-tobacco derived) nicotine the same way as regular nicotine. You may think this is not a big deal, but they will give manufacturers just 90 days to submit a PMTA. Those of you who have kept informed of the PMTA process will know that the FDA requires 6 months of scientific data in order to even consider it, so it is simply another attempt at a de facto ban on life-saving products.

So on the 3mg builders and use 12mg MTL. Tried one disposable 50 mg and it went downhill from their. So I got of 3 months ago. 2 weeks ago i tried that stuff again and needless to say i'm craving the 50s but really know i should stay away. So I've been vaping the better part of 8 years and started building right away, I always used very simple single wrapped coils with 6 wraps and a 3 or 3.5 mm diameter. i switched to doubles but the wicks cotton normally would be too thick for the wells- I use a Zues x at the moment. so my question --- I used to comb out the wick to make it thinner and it worked fine until now - I just cut the edge of the wicks where they insert into the well and i've never had such a great vaping taste

Just to also mention i use top quality coils and wick, I try to do as much as i can to have a good experience

Thinking of switching to Nic Salts for two reasons--1-I found a place that ships E-Juice to NY (don't move to NY, btw...really) and their selection of salts is much better than their options for regular nicotine E-Juice and, 2-I'm hearing/reading that nic salts can be better for x smokers (pack + a day) because the levels are higher (up to 50mgs) and it's absorbed quicker. 1\ What do people who use salts think of them? (obvious).
2\ I'm using Aspire Tigons with 0.7 coils. I hear most use pods for salts. Can Tigons be used or should I switch to a pod?
3\ I'm reading that salts give a "smoother" throat hit. Does that translate into "no throat hit"? Because that would be a No-Go.

So much to learn, so little time. All I want to do is stay the hell off "analog" butts, and it seems the whole world's conspiring to keep me on them. Millions are in this position because of police state governments and peoples' willingness to accept it, right across the board.

I recently acquired a Marvos Pod tank but I've been having real issues with the coils. Both the .25 and .15 have started hitting dry almost consistently with very poor flavour from about the 10th puff. I've been vaping at the lower end of the recommended wattage for both. This tank came highly recommended by a trusted source but I've had the opposite experience.

The Food and Drug Administration will get new powers to regulate synthetic nicotine, found in e-cigarettes popular among teenagers, as part of a government spending bill slated to pass in coming days, a lawmaker confirmed on Tuesday.

The language in the omnibus spending package, a yet-to-be unveiled bill to fund the government through September, would give the FDA the authority to regulate products that contain nicotine but aren’t derived from tobacco, such as synthetic nicotine, according to a document obtained by Bloomberg.
Sens. Richard Burr (R-N.C.), Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and Patty Murray (D-Wash.), along with Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) led the effort to get the language into the omnibus, according to two Senate sources familiar with the discussions.

“This is an enormous win for public health and American consumers ,” Pallone said in a statement. “I’m grateful to members on both sides of the aisle for working with me to close this loophole in the omnibus.”

The change will stop “bad actors attempting to evade FDA regulation and hook a new generation of young people into a lifetime of nicotine addiction,” Pallone said.

Public health groups have been warning that synthetic nicotine e-cigarettes such as Puff Bar have grown in popularity among teens while skirting FDA oversight. The FDA has authority to regulate natural tobacco products, but it’s unclear if that extends to lab-made nicotine.

More than a quarter of middle and high school e-cigarette users reported using Puff Bar as their usual brand, according to a survey from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Puff Bar didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

The same survey found brands that use traditionally derived nicotine, such as those sold by Vuse, SMOK, and JUUL Labs Inc., are also popular among teens, even though people under age 21 can’t purchase them legally.
