New here but not new to vaping. In fact, I have been vaping since 2012 when I bought my first kit off of Vapor4Life. I only bought from Vapor4Life until the unfortunate shipping bans. I used the Wow Peppermint with the Vapor Zeus and the smileomizers. Now I cannot find anything that I even remotely like since they are officially gone
I have tried the Ooze batteries with the mint Twist juice and the atomizer always tastes burnt even though I let it sit for 20 minutes or more before using it. I like the Air Bar lux disposables but I can’t see that being very cost effective.

I feel like the equipment changed so much since I started, and I didn’t keep up and now I don’t know what to buy or where to start. The guy at the Vape shop said it was time to upgrade to the new technology, but I don’t even know what that is. I literally used the same type of battery for nearly 10 years.
Please help. I am so frustrated, and I don’t know what to buy.

Hello! I posted about my issue in the "new" section, but I'm also posting here, hoping more people will see. Here is the problem: My batteries go down very fast after they drop below 40%. So for a bit of info, I first used an eLeaf istick pico, with a sketchy battery in retrospect, used to charge it via usb and all was good. I then wanted to upgrade and got a vaporesso GenS, 2 vtc5as and an Xtar vc2 to charge them. After a bit, I updated its firmware and I started noticing the issue I described above, but it could have been there from before. I then got a pair of vtc6s, which did the same in my Gen S, and finally, I got a pair of molicel p26as, which also did the same out of the box, they came at about 40% charge new. After all those, I repurposed my set of vtc6s and use them on the pico, charging all the cells on the Xtar. I now think that the issue comes from the charger, since the vtc6s in the pico also die very fast after 40%. Is this a known issue with any of my gear?

I currently use KR808 batteries with matching cartomizers, have used them for many years. But I am now out of cartomizers and can't get them shipped anymore, nor juice, and I was unprepared for the shipping cutoff. I live in a very rural area of Southern California. There isn't a local shop.

However, I am going to the Tucson area for Thanksgiving, and there's a few local shops that sell Smok kits, so I am looking to switch over. And I can stock up on juice. However, I'm a total newb to these types of batteries, and am really not sure where to start.

Options are Nord, Nord2, Nord AIO 19 or 22, RPM80 Pro, or RPM 40.

I've been out of the "researching batteries" phase for so long, and am running out of time! How do I choose? Are there replacement parts I should buy while I'm there, just to make sure things keep running?

I don't want copious amounts of vapor if it can be helped. That's the only thing I've identified as desirable. What am I not considering? I really don't want to go back to analog!!

I have stayed and still only use the original Kangertech Subtanks since they came out years ago, 4 mil thru the 7 mil Subtank Plus. I stock up on the OCC 0.5 ohm and SSOCC 0.5 ohm SUS316L coils. Question; I'm looking for other tanks that the kangertech coil threads will fit. Thank you

I received both of mine today and upon tossing batteries in them to make sure they operate, I'm slightly concerned about the battery door and how it's going to treat the battery wrapping over long-term use.

Having only opened and closed the battery door a few times, I'm noticing small divots in the wrapping which brings me to the question - why would they put such a small negative connector nipple on this thing with hardly any surface area at all to disperse the door pressure on the battery?



Any reports for long-term use?
