I'm definitely new to vaping and super new to the technical parts of the device and its components. I've been vaping for under a month. I mainly bought one for making clouds but now I kind a like small doses of nicotine.

Vapresso Revenger Mini kit with a NRG SE Mini tank. and I thoroughly enjoyed this tank for a few weeks and had no problems. However I have upgraded to the Geek Z sub ohm tank and have lots of questions and technical difficulties to ask but will ask in the correct forum topic.

Obelisk 120 FC Mod Battery 3.700mAh:
For this unit Geekvape claims to have used two 18650 Lipo cells capable of withstanding up to 1,000,000 puffs at 60W! However, it seems to me a rather reckless statement. Somewhere I read that the Obelisk Mod pack / battery is capable of overcoming 300 charge cycles in its life cycle and this data certainly seems to me to be reliable.

I did some tests with cheek atomizers and the number of puffs that can be obtained is in line with that detected with other mods equipped with an external 21700 battery. While using the device above 30W (compared to other 21700 Mods) the number of puffs that can be obtained is slightly lower. I managed to do 324 puffs at a constant 35W and (for me) it's a good result. Furthermore, with the special charger you will wait only 15 'to reuse the Obelisk Mod again, so it does not matter how many Puffs you manage to do. With this speed, waiting times are practically zero.



Obelisk 120 FC Mod Fast Charger Charger (Not Included):
It seems that this charger manages the ultra-fast charging phase in a super protected and safe way without overheating the Mod, keeping the temperature below 48.5 ° c.

Unfortunately the adapter (optional) was not sent to me and I currently do not have another "fast / charge" charger that supports the PD 20V / 3.25A-65W protocol.
So during my review I could not verify the stratospheric recharge time (15 minutes) obtainable.
However, it is enough to go to the channels of some youtuber's to see their tests and the confirmed veracity of Geekvape's promises.
I was amazed seeing the time trial of the famous Italian youtuber "Santone Dello Svapo", 15 minutes and 6 seconds the result!
Congratulations indeed Geekvape.

Note (in the image below) while fast charging with the PD 20V / 3.25A-65W protocol is used, the different graphics on the display, while with lower charging speeds the charging in the Display is shown in the classic way (with the notches colored).

Obelisk 120 FC Mod Reverse Charging and OTG 5V / 2.4A:
OTG is the acronym for On-The-Go, which is a technology that allows Android smartphones and tablets to offer OTG support to a whole series of devices that can be connected via USB to the socket normally used for charging the device.

That the new Geekvape Mod was able to work as a common Powerbank I was able to verify!
In fact, I connected both a Smartphone, some Pods and other small electronic cigarettes to the Obelisk. If you want to circulate with the charging cable (with double Usb-C socket) you can try (if necessary) to recharge the Mod through your smartphone, or recharge other small devices for Vaping through the Mod ... it will be your free choice and perhaps in some cases this additional function could be useful.

In chronological order and after the version with double external battery L200 (Aegis Legend 2) came the small Mod Z50 aesthetically inspired by nothing less than the Doric columns of the Acropolis of Athens. Now it is the turn of the Obelisk (to stay on the subject of Monuments) ... It is curious to note how the classic shape of the Mod does not remember at all that long and narrow pyramid of an Obelisk! The ancient Obelisks were obtained from a single block of stone (a monolith) and it is probably for this type of construction that Geekvape for its Obelisk Mod (unibody construction) wanted to connect with the choice of this name.



Obelisk 120 FC Mod tactile feeling:
I received the Black version of the Obelisk for this test, the glossy finish is very nice but it is a magnet for fingerprints.
The classic and retro form factor is of sober extraction. The rounded edges, the weight contained in only 170g, the compact dimensions (halfway between a single and a dual battery) are all characteristics that give the Obelisk a good handling.
The body is mainly built in an "undefined strong metal alloy", the only exception being the screen and the inserts on the side panels of dark plastic.

Sourcemore sent me this Wotofo Troll X for the purpose of this review.

The Troll X is a dual or single coil, top fill, bottom air RTA. In the box, you’ll find the RTA, a bubble glass, a honeycomb airflow insert (slim groove airflow insert is installed), a bag of O rings and tools, a coil trimming tool, cotton laces, and a pair of framed staple clapton coils.





It’s 24mm wide, 36mm high (without the drip tip), and it holds 3ml of liquid with the straight glass, 4.4ml with the bubble glass. It comes in black, SS, blue metal, blue, gold, and rainbow – I got the rainbow.



It does not come with a spare drip tip, but I’d like to point out the very nice drip tip it comes with. It’s a little thing, but a nice touch.




I built it with the included coils and cotton, but first I popped out the grooved AF and put in the honeycomb. They’re really tiny and seem fragile, but they do slide in and out quite easily, and the honeycomb gives a nice smooth air flow.

The machining and finish look flawless to me. The threading is crisp, and that delicate knurling doesn’t just look beautiful, it works beautifully, too. The top and bottom are super easy to grip, so it’s easy to take the tank apart or adjust the air.





Air flow is fairly open – I’ve had RTAs with more air flow, this is a tad less open but it’s still sufficient. It has five air holes on two sides, and closed down to one it’s restricted enough for most, I would think, while still being very smooth and not getting too hot. The coils sit cradled in a curved deck, with your choice of inserts right in the center, so there’s zero guesswork about how to get those coils in the air flow properly. And there’s plenty of room to poke that cotton through the deck. This is designed to not need a lot of know-how or trial and error to get a good vape.





The top fill is a slide to open deal, and there is a tiny dot where you push to open, but it’s hard to see, easy to miss if you're not aware it’s there. The top is very firm, I have zero worry that it’ll open accidentally. And there’s also a substantial membrane with a slit in the fill port. I’ve held it upside down with the slide open and no leaks at all. Well done.



Cons... I don’t have much negative to say about this. The screws are a bit on the wee side, but they didn’t give me any grief. I would have liked a little more juice capacity. It’s a somewhat thirsty tank, especially in dual coil mode. And it’s easy to fill, once you find that microscopic arrow. It is bottom air, so if you don’t get enough cotton to the deck, it could leak. But they do give you plenty of room to get that cotton in.



Pros...If I had to give it a number, I’d say the flavor is a solid 8, and I might nudge that to a 9 with a different build if I play with it a bit. It’s really well made, and comes apart, goes together very nicely, even right out of the box. The airflow adjusts from quite restricted to plenty open – I’d say about 8.5 out of 10. The slide cap – and that’s a feature I’m always leery of – is really well done, very firm, no worries about carrying it in a pocket or purse. It also comes in a nice range of colors, and the price is right.



All in all, this is a really nice RTA and will stay in rotation.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

I have used the previous version of the Grus for quite some time and it is a mod i really like.
This updated version looks exactly the same on the outside and coincidence would have it i got the same color scheme as the Grus that i already owned.

This mod just feels and looks good,you do get a slight ''high end'' sensation when you are holding it in your hand.

It is well made and sturdy (zinc alloy body),a bit on the heavier side (with the 21700 battery) but some of us like that.

The whole is revamped and it comes with a lot of features that the previous version didn't have,features like 5 vape modes, 3 boost levels, and 3 user records.

Personally i am a simple type of vaper so unfortunately i haven't given any of features i try when using the Grus for the review.
I just put the battery in,adjust the wattage and start vaping but if you like using Bypass, Voltage or choosing the material of the coil you can do so with this mod.

Time to share my thoughts on the UB PRO Pod Tank...

This is one of the times i am torn between performance and looks.

Performance wise i liked this pod,easy to put the coil in,easy to refill and no leaking.
I am a low wattage DL vaper so i have only tried the 0.3ohm UB Pro P3 Coil and even that is to hot for me but i gotta say i was impressed with the flavor.

Shame i couldn't give the other lower wattage coils a try,those i would have enjoyed more but that is just the way i vape,50 or 60 watts is just to hot for me.

I did try a quick chain vape 2 minute marathon and no dry hits and after almost a week of heavy use the coil is still as good as new.

Aesthetically wise i just don't like it,performance is really good but the way it looks on the Grus mod just isn't right.

Grus mod itself is one beautiful mod,stylish with some sexy subtle curves,to me it looks like a high end mod.

The material of the UB PRO Pod Tank just doesn't match the way the mod looks and that in my case really bugs me.

As i mentioned before the performance is top notch,easy fill system,airflow ring is easy to work with,no dry hits or e-liquid in the mouth but i just don't like the way it looks on the Grus mod.

Performance wise i give the UB PRO Pod Tank a 9,aesthetic score? barely a 5.

PROS

-Mod looks fabulous and it feels high end
-Battery door is of the threaded type
-Nice clear display that is easy to navigate
-Ability to put in a big hunky atomizer,this mod will house a 30mm atomizer with no overhang

CONS

-Looks of the pod do not match the high end looks of the Grus Mod.
-As with the previous version of the Grus we still do not have a voltage indicator on the screen.

FINAL THOUGHTS

I love the Grus Mod,the pod even thou it performs well just bugs me.
Seems out of place when put on top of the Grus but this is just a personal issue,some might not mind the looks of the UB PRO Pod Tank.

The coolfire z50 kit is the vape device that helped me quit smoking and start vaping one year and one month ago...it was a good choice cause I had no problems on my first vaping steps making the transition pleasant...

The z80 kit seems an impoved version in every way from the great z50 kit in my opinion...

Removable battery is always good to have....bigger size make it better to hold in the hand...very lightweight but also feels sturdy....great machining always from innokin and buttery smooth threads on the battery cap...

I still don't know if the Fourier vape tech with the new board can improve the coil life or the refresh makes any difference but I always like to see innovation and the mod performs very good that's for sur....the z coils already for me are great coils and very long lasting anyways ..

I also saw the 0.8ohm coil has bigger juice holes now!!!! I don't know since when this happend cause i have a stock of older coils and I also rebuild them...

I always thought the juice holes were kinda small for the 0.8ohm coil and sometimes on colder temps it couldn't keep up to wick 70vg juices in my opinion if u chain vape
I am very happy innokin doesn't settle and still making improvements and fine-tune their coils even tho they are so successful...

The zenith 2 is an improved zlide tank in my opinion maybe they chose to name it zenith caus the old zenith is a legend hahahaha
In fact is so similar u can swap the bottom airflows from the zenith 2 to the zlide if u wanted

its same dimensions as the zlide if u don't count the curves on the airflow ring and topcap,those curves btw make it look soooooo good

....it has wider chimney inner diameter that helps for direct lung vaping and it's not much bigger to affect the mouth to lung flavour in my opinion.....

it also comes with larger juice capacity cause the twist topfill mechanism that borrowed from the zenith takes less space and makes the tank be able to hold more juice than the zlide on same dimentions oh yeahhh....

the new airflow system is perfect....with small holes to be able to fine tune mouth to lung from tight to airy and a big slot to wide open and vape direct lung...

In my opinion is not just restricted cause it can be almost as airy as for example the hellvape destiny rta that is single coil direct lung rta.... The zenity 2 can supply the 0.3ohm z coil with all the air it needs and Vapes great...something that the zlide couldn't keep up...
