That could explain it. Where are getting your TCR from ?
Thanks.

Thanks. I try that. I switched it now but can't reset the resistance I've been vaping and the coil is hot.
Thank you again

It's pretty much the consensus that 26g is the best choice for dual coil titanium builds, and 24g for single. Both are a lot more robust than 28g. Though 28g is pretty good for twisting.
But which SS is best and contact or spaced coils. I see Vape Mesh has 316L and Unkamen is going to have 317L which seems to be quite a bit higher resistance. What is the one most people use?

IDK if it is just my mind or not but when I get the resistance and put in the CompTemp I then hit the fire button before the screen shuts itself off and it seems to work better when I go to vape it then if I just wait till the screen goes off itself. I have just been using the setting of 25 which seems to work fine.

Let's hope that folks don't become DOGMATIC about the different wires.

Anyone who answers that Q without direct experience is doing a disservice to the community.

One might use 316L for one reason, 316 for another, 430 for another, or 410...

If you want to substitute information for experience read the entire "TC Beyond Ni 200" thread.

@jazzvaper I have a question, the TCR is the same at any resistance. I just tried to switch to manual setting set for .0052 and hit the fire button. Went into the main screen and no vapor and dry coil comes up on the screen.
I'm really confused here any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would use the "fixed" setting for "Nickel", not a specific TCR setting.

Why? I have a perverse belief that the fixed setting has more than one data point. Call me crazy.

Thank you. I appreciate your time and agree.
I upped the temp about 40 degrees and the vapor and flavor are as good as the fixed setting.
Interesting stuff.

I have been using Ti tonight & trying out the different settings. 'Ti mode' seems to be giving me a better vape than setting TCR to 0.00350. I can't tell as much of a difference with Ti as I did with ni200 though.
I'm finding that I have to raise the temp in higher in manual TCR as compared to the preset.
