Ok...on the istick TC, .15 ohm coil, 40W and 530 degrees, why is the vape so cool compared to my eVic? I'm using the TC GS Air tank.

Likely because it's a bottom coil style tank. I have a Ni200 coil in a top coil and 380-400 F is more than enough for a very warm vape.

I've only been using the 40w for half a day, but I'm not sure if I can get used to the larger size and new position of the tank. I'm a creature of habit, and this just feels really weird.

As a person with small hands, I would cradle my index finger against the tank to give it stability. With the tank on the other side now, it's just not as comfortable as it was before. Along with it being slightly bigger, and slightly heavier. The extra 10 watts and TC don't matter to me at all because I don't have nickel coils, and I don't vape past 9 watts typically.

Will test a little bit further, but I may just grab another 30 watt for the time being. The 30w has worked great for me since I got it.

Hey everyone. I just dropped my istick 50 on the ground a bit ago. Unfortunately, it made the screen all scrambled. All I can read is the last number and w. For instance it says, .0w right now. Anyone know of any fix? It's doubtful, but worth a look. It's over 3 months old now. All I can do is count the amount of clicks to get to my desired wattage. It works fine still.

I sent Dan over here from another thread to ask for help -- I knew his best chances are with someone here! GOOD LUCK, DAN! Hope there's some "first aid" for your injured istick!!

Thanks, at that rate I may just grab a new one or a Coolfire 4 for $30 though honestly. My luck, I grab that and the battery craps out lol.
If they were 8 or 10 bucks, it might be worth it. Maybe the price will eventually drop. I've heard one guy say his screen became unscrambled after turning it off and doin a full charge. Sounds like coincidence but may be worth tryin.

My blue 40W TC IStick showed up today! I am still getting used to it, but so far so good. I am running it at 440 degrees 40W's with Nicoticket's Raz Cup. 12mg is a little intense with this set up. I forgot that this is running sub ohm! At least it is cooler than my Subtank Nano and Atlantis which I hardly ever use.

Remember that when you apply power to a Ni200 coil the resistance increases, (it's how the mod determines temperature, by monitoring the resistance).

440 F sounds intense in any case, I'm usually around the 400 F level.

I was very close indeed. Two TCs carted, waiting, at two different vendors... But I went to a meeting, talked to my sponsors (on my old threads ;)), checked my existing stock of vaping supplies, did some breathing exercises and decided against TC for the time being. :thumb:
