That's great information to know ALB53, how about a 1.8 carto? I'm using a Viva Nova with 1.8 and was thinking about getting some 2.0 an now know better, but don't yet know about the 1.8's. Please advise

Will the X2 work with Viva Nova 3.5 tanks? Haven't seen any post showing anything like that and am interested in battery but won't do me any good if the Nova won't hook up.

It will work with an 808/510 adapter on a manual X2. It may not work, with the adapter, on an auto X2 due to air flow to the switch not being sufficient.

Rock on Snowlady, I'm about 6 weeks on the same path...This SI site rocks and I'm afraid I'll have to order before the day is over. Currently using Vapor Shark and liking it with the Viva Nova tank but this SI postings have me looking in new directions...YOU guys are bad...trying to justify buying more stuff....how much have I saved from analogs so far????? doesn't take much of that to convince a fellow...

The vivi nova works great on the manual X2 using the 808/510 adapter. Also using a sleeve will hide the ego threading giving it a smoother look.

I would like to add, try SI's T3 on the X2. No adapter needed.

I have two manual Volt X2 650 mAh batteries. LOVE them.
Question:
I just ordered two Kanger Protank 2 Mini's. They're advertised to have eGo threading, so this means they will work on my Volt X2's right?

Maybe or maybe not. The battery post on an X2 battery sticks up farther than it does on an eGo. Some eGo threaded devices work with an X2 and some don't. IDK about the Protank Mini.
