I love the K4, but I'm tired of the wet hands and leaking in my pocket. I've replace the #16 o-ring and all the others below the tank to no avail. Until I can order and install some 12x1.5mm o-rings I've cranked my old K3. I'm enjoying leak free vaping again. There's less flavor, but more satisfaction without the leaks. If the K3 leaks it's because I put my finger over the air hole and created too much vacuum. That's my fault.

That said, I will order some larger o-rings and see if that fixes the problem. I'm also using less juice with the K3 and that's a plus.
Hmmm. You don't turn JC off before pocketing the 4?
I always do since I think bouncing around in ones pocket will slosh the juice around pretty hard and cause extra juice to be forced into the chamber.

I turn JC on and off about 50 times a day while at work. Works like a champ and NEVER had a leak, so far at least.

Good luck though.

WoW that's a lot of work. I never close mine when I pocket them. Never leaked at all.

Got my replacement part from SvoeMesto. They even gave me the o-rings and screw.

Well alright! Can you tell if there's an obvious difference in how they machined it?
I've got two P3s and one Ti2.5 with the P3 connector and the Ti2.5 is the only device that doesn't have a gap, albeit a small gap, but a gap nonetheless when I use my K4 or my Nautilus with the P3 connector.

I can't believe of the three, the only one without the gap is the Ti. And the Ti is my least favorite of the three and is rarely used.

My thought is sending in my black P3 for the upgrade and including my Ti and asking Provari to switch the top caps so I can finally use my K4 with the adapter on my black P3 and not have that little gap. I'm sure they could do that for me.

Yep, like others wrote - never had a leak too..

Mine have only leaked once, but that was my own doing by not tightening everything up enough. Other than that one incident haven't had any leaks either!

I'm headed to Disney next week with the family and don't want to take a chance on walking around with a leaking K4 in my pocket. The K3 is fine unless I over-prime it by closing the air hole and creating a vaccuum.

I have three Tobeco K4's. Two are new and have never been used. I haven't even tried the 12mm o-ring fix, but I'll wait until after we get back from vacation to work on the leak issues. It's fine if it's sitting upright, but not if I lay it down or carry it in a pocket while driving. Vertical is the only position it won't leak in.

My EHPro Kayfun 3.1 doesn't care if I lay it down or walk around with it in my pocket.

You have to take in consideration drastic temperature changes with "vacuum" style RTAs. I just turn them upside down when I know there is some type of altitude and/or temperature change.

Didn't get a chance to check till last night, but it looks like there are more threads (cut deeper/closer to the bottom of the opening). Here's my pic from way back in the conversation and one I just took (apologies for the bad quality).

Wow, they do look closer to the bottom. I still don't understand why Provape doesn't machine a under-cut at the bottom.

Why oh why didn't Joyetech make their eVic Supreme 22mm?? Their awesome connection design might have caught on if it weren't an odd-ball 23mm.

Anyone know where I can get hold of a spare congestion ring (#25) and/or does the Youde Goblin chimney fit on the K4 deck (#17)? Height doesn't matter, just that it screws on. I've read that the K4 congestion ring does fit the Goblin so I assume the reverse is true.

Hi,

I own 6 Kayfun Lite Plus which I love for their taste and design. Now recently I ordererd an (authentic) Kayfun v4. I used the same coil and wick method (microcoil, cotton) as I would use in my Lite Plus. I was astonished to find that the flavour was/is very muted. I tried bigger and smaller coils in diameter, more or less cotton, coil close to the air hole, coil far away from the air hole. I couldn't bring out the flavour as good as in my Lite Plus or Squape Reloaded.

On the forums and Youtube everyone seems to be very excited about the Kayfun v4. Is there something about wicking a Kayfun 4 that I don't know?

Ps: New to the forums, but not new to ecigs, been vaping for about 2 1/2 years now.

Hey guys, might be a dumb question but how are you supposed access the deck while the tank is full of juice, like, OFFICIALY. The only times i've done it is when theres already very little left in it, and I've just straight up been unscrewing the deck WHILE the JC is open ( since it doesn't seem to unscrew if it's closed?). Im just curious since I haven't tried that with an almost full tank before and I'd rather avoid dumping a full tank of expenisve juice if I can lol.

Just turn the whole thing upside down and unscrew the tank section, leave it inverted on the table while you mess with your deck (it's very stable if you remove the drip tip), then screw it back on inverted once you're done messing with the build.

No need to mess with the juice control, putting a filled tank on doesn't cause the pressure issues that promote flooding like adding juice from the top does. Lotta folks bottom fill their Kayfun 4 anyway (either because they don't like the resistance issues with the JC, or the JC sticks, or they're using a bell cap that doesn't allow for top fill), and that's essentially the same process, unscrew the tank upside down, screw it back on upside down, flip it and vape.
